Bhagvan Ramana Maharishi is wisdom of Non-duality in its purest form, directly coming from grace of Arunachala Shiva. It is said that even after realising the Self, his love for Shiva increased exponentially As was the case with others like RamKrishna. He was special like Vivekananda in the sense that he first realised the Self by direct experience and then found his experience matching with the knowledge of Vedas. He would spend hours in silence of being one with Shiva at the holy mountain, which shows that non duality is highest state of devotion and surrender. PS: His favourite book was Ribhu Gita. He recommended it in most of his talks. You should read it.

Totally agree. Indian civilization has many such great spiritual giants in its 10000 plus years of history. In the modern time, I would rate Ramana Maharshi as one of such great incarnations. What a powerful and purest form of non-dualist. Just the name is sufficient to instill purity in you.

I can't forget the divine experience before Shri Ramana Samadi 30 years back as I sat before his Samadi in Thiruvannamalai for 3 hours forgetting myself along with some Foreigners and from then only I became a believer of God by reading Shri Ramanas books and Gita. I recommend you to read "Immortal Talks". In this book, Hanuman ji has himself transferred the cosmic knowledge to their beloved Mathang Tribe of Srilanka. It's a very nice book and one requires a deep knowledge to understand the whole thing of birth, death and enlightenment.

You probably do not know, Ramana Maharshi even did a complex surgery without any anesthesia. He was at such a level of awareness where body and mind did not mean anything to him.

If you do not experience Thiru-Anna-Malai (Thiruvannamalai) you have never experienced anything at all. Make it a life time mission to accomplish. Supremacy problem lies with both amateur Shaivas and Vaishnavas. Not only Vaishnavas On the other hand ,an advanced devotee would never find any difference between his Ishtadeva and other Deities , for him only his Ishtadeva has manifested into various forms.

@@adishankaracharya5160 but im trying to address a deeper problem, know this fact that iskcon is not something which represents vaishnavism or hinduism. Its just a company, a business in the name of krishna. So pls dont confuse iskcon with vaishnavas. My grandfather and my other family members chanted Hare Krishna mantra and read gita for 100 years but suddenly a business iskcon emerged who patented bhagavad gita and Mahamantra as if their fake saint prabhupad had written it. So pls, what i mean is that, good and authentic vaishnavas are still there. Theyre not iskcon. Go to TTD, Sri Chaitanya Math or even Govardhan Puri Math, u'll find true teachers. Iskcon is biased and people started thinking them to be face of hinduism and vaishnavism. A company can never be spiritual ! And iskcon's policy of bringing foreign women especially russian in india, i hate it. I dont wanna comment on it, but iskcon's fake bhakti irritates me. Just foreign women in gopi clothes dancing, they are just marketers and advertisers, not any spiritual group. If u want true study go to Ramkrishna Mission, Ramanaasramam, Divine life society, Bihar school of yoga and many others...
