Please note there are several wonderful commentaries available on Bhagavan's teachings now especially by Paul Brenton, TMP Mahadevan, David Godman, Michael James and others. His teachings are so simple and direct and such several western commentators quote them very often.

I understand your sentiment, but his teachings are preserved and available. No one can awaken you, you must awaken yourself. But if you read the Bhagavan's words he is still here, and those words can guide you to what you truly want, but you alone still have to walk that path.
