For those who don't know, Milarepa is a siddha(perfected being) and is the first person to climb Mount Kailash. Also rishis in Bharat varsha (ancient India) knew that stories creates inspiration, motivation quickly so they imparted spirtual truths in stories,histories,myths . Rishis advice us to study the lives of spirtual beings very often so it's a norm that they use the stories of spirtual beings before transmitting Upanishads,Vedas ,purana to their disciples.

This story is amazing , Roger u explained well. 1 question Does a person evolved spiritually or consciously if they learned from life lessons ? like for example , an arrogant person becomes humble through suffering. Did Milarepa evolved spiritually or consciously while he was doing hard work with out spiritual work ? Roger and Sabina thanks for this great video 😇🙏🙏

Oh yes... Some teachers say that the very reason for life lessons and hardships is to learn and evolve Spiritually.... To get on the Path. When Milarepa was doing all of that hard work he was purifying all of the Negativities he committed... Hard work in service of something or someone greater than or other than yourself is a great tool for purification 🙏🏻🙏🏻💙💙

In India even general citizen are aware of this fact that anyone who misuses occult suffer towards end of his life n the suffering is carried to coming life too... How can you say it does not matter whether you attain enlightenment in this lifetime or not I think you should not be content during your death if enlightenment has not happened don't get angry at me 😅😅it is just my opinion that you should make enlightenment your only priority as a spiritual seeker

Enlightenment is our only priority.... But we will not descend into the lower levels of resentment, discontent, and regret if it doesn't happen in this lifetime... How is that useful, and will those negative states help or hinder us in the next lifetime? When we say it does not matter, it means that we have set our intention and pursued it to the best of our ability... We will not regret that effort. Thanks. 🙏🏻💙
