As of now, Chris O Hara and Derron Montgomery are both assistant coaches with the Minnesota Vikings. O hara is the qb coach, while Montgomery is the offensive quality control. It’s cool to see how they have become.

Not sure why this popped up in my feed but decided to see where they are at in the 2022 season. Derron Montgomery enters his first season at Arizona as a senior offensive analyst. Montgomery previously was an Assistant Director of Player Development at Georgia for two seasons. The Garland, Texas native has also spent time at Michigan, Miami, Abilene Christian and New Mexico Highlands. He has worked as an offensive coordinator and has coached wide receivers, tight ends and fullbacks. Montgomery played wide receiver for Iowa State and Abilene Christian during his collegiate career. Chris O'Hara enters his eighth season in the NFL and begins his first season with the Los Angeles Rams as an offensive assistant. O'Hara spent the 2020 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars after after spending the previous three seasons working with Jay Gruden in Washington (2017-19) as an offensive quality control coach. Prior to his stint in Washington, O'Hara worked as an offensive coaching associate with the Jaguars from 2014-16. In 2015, the Jaguars' offense accounted for 35 TD passes, shattering the previous team record of 28 set in 2007.

True dedication. Love to see that even though I doubt I could do it myself. There are long hours, 7 day weeks and then there is that. Crazy.

I didn't get to play college ball. Didn't know about Walk On programs. Went to a Political football High School back to the late 90s. I would like to be a GA and move up. I already have a BA.
