Eh... Riot wasn't terrible, but it was rather forgettable. I think they tried to pander to a broader audience by "softening" their sound a bit and having more shallow lyrics. This song sounds like they're trying that approach while maintaining more of their signature aggression, and if this song represents the direction the band is heading in, I'll forgive their last flop and then some.

I have no idea why people call Bullet emo... Jimmy Eat World is emo. My Chemical Romance is emo. They sound nothing like Bullet. I think I remember hearing them saying that they are currently writing again for a new album which will follow the same style as this song, and more like their older stuff, and I can't remember if it was at their Rule Britannia tour or on their Facebook page but they said it will be similar to their old stuff, forgive me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty certain they've realised their Temper Temper stuff wasn't their best...no hate :)

I hope so too. I liked The Poison, but Scream Aim Fire made me become a hardcore fan. I saw no faults in it. Fever was alright, it had some good songs, and Temper Temper, eh. If the new album sounds like this, it'd be sweet. Stick to your roots, but there's nothing wrong with branching off. It makes you a better musician to write different stuff and still make it kick ass.

Anyway, there's the Bullet I was missing since the "Fever" album. Much better lyrical writing, and the riffs are killer. Nice to see the band back on its roots.

linkno1 I read that he cut his hair for his wedding in late 2012, and decided to leave it short for a while.

ChernovFan100 Maybe it was that, but he may still have grown to like it short rather than long. I used to have damn long hair, down to my ass. I cut it with full intent of growing it back ASAP but I actually grew to like it pretty quickly. The only time I miss it is when headbanging, it's just not the same with short hair D:

Temper Temper was a let down for Bullet's standards but the rest are amazing, lets just hope the next one belongs with the amazing rest

After listening to the 3 songs they have released that will be on "venom". I'm convinced that temper temper was them slipping. Not because these venom's songs are heavy, they are just simply great songs. Temper temper felt rushed uncreative and lost in musical direction. I'm definitely in hype mode for venom's release.
