In this video I will discuss my experience raising black sons in America and dealing with Police Brutality, Racism, and Choosing a School for your black child. We're living in scary times and I know how difficult it is as a black parent to raise black sons in America.
Raising children in 2020 is tough, and black families deal with racism and other issues that make it tough for us to manage day to day life with all the social trauma.
I hope this will help bring hope to other black parents, and also help parents of different ethnicity's understand what black mothers experience in trying to give our children support and confidence in who they are regardless of the systemically racist environments they grow up in.
