If you think about buying a house in Romania, that could be a good idea. Actually there are a lot of youtubers and influencers who moved there from all over the world. The reasons are :cheap houses prices, light speed internet, nice people, and the 4 seasons wich makes that each month of the year is different, skiing at the mountains, beaches at the sea and a lot of wild nature around.

You could actually lick the walls safely, no harmful bacteria can survive on solid salt for more than a few minutes, raw mineral salt is even safe to eat if you don't mind a few grains of sand in your food. Mineral salt was for a long time used medicinally on superficial wounds, because it simultaneously disinfects and stops the bleeding, it actually works faster than modern bandages, but also hurts like hell when applied (that being the only reason why this practice was abandoned, though in survival situations salt is your best bet for avoiding infections, if available).

What we are doing is, we rent an Airbnb for a month or two. That way, we feel like we have a home and we have the time to settle in and get used to our surrounding, but we are also exploring new places. And it's way cheaper! You can get huge discounts, hiring a place for 28 days or more. And, I agree that traveling with children comes with challenges, but is also so rewarding! Our 11 year old daughter has been to 30 countries so far in 3 continents. Her first international trip was when she was 2 months old and she had just passed her 1st birthday when we went on her first intercontinental trip to South Africa. Whilst she might not remember those (and many other trips), we wouldn't change those memories for anything 💕

I so love that you guys are as transparent with the bad things as well as the good while travelling and would love to see more of this from ALL Travellers and while the public on this side of the TV can say to move here or move there, I think it would be more of a family concensus on where you all feel most at home. I think you have loved a lot of places recently with this idea like Turkey, Finland, Germany, Romania and Estonia a lot, but I think there is a lot more yet to see in the world and I realllly think you guys would love Ireland and the UK. You can buy a house cheap in Ireland or possibly even Wales, but I think you need to think about Visas and really explore a lot more before you fully make that very exciting decision. Whatever that decision may be, I would say stick to that side of the pond as it makes it sooooo much easier to travel around Europe forever once you find a forever home there (I know this from experience as well). You will need to apply for a visa though. Possibly through an Entertainment visa since not marrying into any of these countries or some other kind of visa, but if I were you guys I would be working hard on maybe making that decision sooner or later as it is a very lengthy and expensive process. I know from Experience as I married a British man and went through immigration to the UK in 2007 which to be honest was much faster since it was a spousal visa, but also much faster than bringing him here to the U.S. Whatever you do, keep renewing your U.S. Passports and don't loose those as it gives you access to over 100 countries and is one of the most powerful visa's there is. Regardless, I love you guys and would hate to see you stop travelling. It would be cool to see a transition eventually on this channel to buying a home abroad and then continuing to travel once settled on and off while remodeling or something like this anyways. I think there is definitely a gap in the market for something like that content.
