So exciting to get out on that first voyage! We had a flood by our house and our campervan got destroyed. It was a sad sad day. It ended out working out because we needed a bigger can anyways with the new baby. We ended up getting a bigger 12 passenger van and we converted it. For our first adventure, it wasn't finished, but good enough. If was nice to have a little trial run in it to see how it worked for our family! Bummer that you couldn't find a spot to sleep. Driveway is still fun! You would love NZ. They have freedom campsites all over where you just show up. We are able to decide after work on a Friday if we want to go away for the weekend. We just start driving and figure out on the road where to stay. Our oldest used to be a little worried and asked where we were sleeping for the night. Now he is used to it and knows we always find something! Excited for you guys! Great adventures to come!

Oh wow that’s a crazy adventure! But glad it worked out with a bigger van! New Zealand would be AMAZING. And we actually have a trip on the books for end of the year to NZ!! Fingers crossed it will actually work out with covid and everything! But we won’t be bringing our van. We would love to someday ship it to NZ and to Australia. Or perhaps just rent one

Thank you! Yes they are not picky 🤣 I just signed us up for harvest host we just need to wait for our composting toilet to get here but I will check out campendium I haven’t heard of that one yet! Thanks for the tip!!
