Butvya, I worked in a restaurant when I was younger and they were usually good tippers. Single, white dudes that come in once a week and order the same thing every time are the best tippers. It's easy to forget that these are elementary school kids. The first girl who ever asked me out did so by having her friend ask me if I wanted to be her boyfriend before class started. The girl in question sat behind me, and was there at the time, and we'd practically never talked to each other. Having friends set up relationships was completely normal at that age.

Butters' "beautiful sadness" speech about taking the good with the bad is my favorite. And as someone who survived losing part of my leg to a Vietnamese boobytrap, having a heart attack, and most recently, having a stroke that left me partially paralyzed, it's a speech that I relate to on a daily basis. The resultant physical and mental impairments and the awesome things I'll never be able to do again because of those impairments are something I'll have to struggle with for the rest of my life, so they're something that's sad for more than "in the moment," but they're not the all there is to my life. There are other beautiful, fulfilling things in my life that I love, and to experience those things, I have to keep living my life and dealing with the struggles that come with it, regardless of how difficult they may become.

This was one of my favorite episodes back iin the day because I literally went thru what Stan did. Back in the 90s I too suffered a heart-crushing breakup which put me thru my own Goth phase as a result. (Side note, I may not dress in all black but I do appreciate the beauty of the culture itself, it's not as dumb as ppl think) Anyway, imagine my surprise when this episode first aired, literally weeks after my own experience. 😆😆😆

1:41 The "homeless" character was only ever named and only ever had one speaking line in the Professor Chaos Origin episode from season 6 specifically the scene you included in your KZbin cut of the reaction at 4:22 there is also times it feels like the character is meant to be Kenny's brother but that doesn't make sense for them to be in the same grade.
