What celebrity have they bashed that had actual talents ? Miley circus ? Britney spears ? Tom cruise ? John travolta ? Barba streisand ? Oprah Winfrey ? Snooki? Lorde? Al'gore ? Obama? Santa ? Etc.. Etc.. Etc.. Its all just fake media personality's, its impossible not to bash them.. Here il try: Today miley cyrus made me proud, she shook her ass for 10 minutes while i played a song in the background and we made an album togheter and named it after her so i can use the miley cyrus brand to sell more cd's and miley earned money shaking her ass ! And then we practiced masturbating infront of thousands of innocent people on the big stage !!! Miley cyrus is the best ya'll.

Actually, I think the makers of South Park watched Cesar on tv, then had an epiphany about how they could make Cartman docile, for the time being anyway. It's really not making fun of Cesar and his techniques, it's just projecting those on Cartman that's so entertaining. :)

It wasn’t just disappointment. It seemed like Cesar actually got a little choked up with sadness when he told us how the same thing often happens with his clients, that some people just don’t have the fortitude to keep doing what’s best for their dog. It must be painful for someone who dedicates their whole life to helping dogs, and then to watch clients flush all their hard work and progress down the drain and go right back to their old ways. And knowing the dog will suffer as a result and it’s out of Cesar’s hands.

A lot of the respect is that he and his methods is not the joke of the episode. The joke premise is wouldn't it be funny if a child was trained like a dog and Cesar is a good person to use for doing that training. I think most celebrities are angry about it because they can't laugh at themselves. Nobody dares to make fun of them in their everyday life because they are something so big in the world so they don't really have friends around teaching them to take some joking about them. Anyone who has seen more life outside the hollywood way can take those jokes, but most of the big actors and show runners have been at it since they were 18 or they are afraid of their reputation going bad which they then make worse themselves.

On the DVD commentary for the episode the South Park boys talk about how much they love the Dog Whisperer. One mentions that he's ended up crying at some episodes when people's lives have been changed by Cesar. And it says a lot for their writing that they knew Cartman's mum was what allowed Cartman to misbehave. Seeing real life Cesar's genuine sadness at the end of the episode bit deep because, as he said, he's seen it happen. It's one of my favourite episodes because even not knowing of Cesar at the time, I recognised the teaching and the character work as solid.

Also if I’m remembering right the creators Matt and Trey when having guest stars on the show they prefer that the guest star isn’t voicing themselves necessarily. For example, Jerry Seinfeld was a guest star and he voiced a Turkey or a chicken I can’t remember which. Anywhozels, that was one of my fav. Episodes and love Ceasar reaction to the satirical show. 🥰
