Joe, I love Mercedes Benz but $72k for a 4 cylinder is a hard pass! We have this engine in our lightly used 2020 C300 and couldn’t imagine spending triple for this CLE 300. Sharp ride, though!

I'm a fan of chrome, but fake exhaust tips are dumb to me. Those bumperettes can be easily removed and the holes covered by nail/screw hole stickers that can be found at hardware stores, likely already in the same color, or rattle-canned to match. I really do dig the CLE even in base engine and trim.

Speaking of pouring sugar, that's almost the only thing I can think of when looking at the rear bumper. I'm not a big fan of the slope thing, I think the Chrysler 200 and I think the Buick Regal was doing the same thing when they came out. The cup holders are nice, I think I like everything except the rear arrow dynamic styling going on. Some females can get away with a shape or figure like that on them, but bringing it to the cars might be a little off though.

Bmw had an m235i convertable. Inline 6 3.0 and sold it fully speced for 55k. This is a cheap knock off of that with a fraction of the engine. Lost me at 70k
