I just got a 2022 CX-9 Carbon after test driving many other competing vehicles for this segment. The CX-9 felt more premium, refined, agile and was better priced than others and without any mark-ups or expensive dealer options. The color combination is just beautiful, elegant and sporty. The design is timeless. Very happy with it and have the peace of mine of a reliable power plant

I’ve had one of these for almost 3 years and 40,000 miles. It’s perfect! I sold cars and have driven so many different ones over the years. But the CX9 is the one I chose to spend my hard earned money on, and I have not regretted it for a second.

I just purchased the CX-9, Carbon edition. It’s my first Mazda since my bright red RX-7 sport car in 1980. I’ve owned cars ranging from MBZ, BMW, and most recently, a Lexus compact SUV. My auto broker had to talk me into test driving this Mazda CX-9 before pulling the trigger on a BMW SUV I had just been shown. After test driving this beautiful Carbon CX-9, I signed the papers immediately and never looked back to the BMW. This car is a gem.

This review helped me a great deal, thanks so much for creating it!! My 2020 BMW X4 was totaled last month so I needed a new car. A few months ago a friend visited me from Savanah driving a Mazda CX-5 that she rented. I remembered how nice it looked so I decided to research Mazda, which is how I found this video. I went to the dealership around 7pm because I like to see how cars look when it's dark. As soon as I laid eyes on the 2021 CX-9 Carbon Edition I knew it was the one for me. The salesperson handed me the key and told me not to go too far. I returned ready to take it home! This car has so many more features than my fully loaded previous SUV had. I still love BMW's but this CX-9 is LIT. I hope the 2024 Carbon Edition will have the heads up display, touch screen infotainment, and blacked-out chrome for a sportier look. If so I'll definitely lease another one. The front windows are now tinted and also added a strip across the windshield to block the sun. Guys, it looks sooo good!! Since acquiring it 2 weeks ago, I have received nothing but compliments from strangers and people I know. Can't wait to see how it wears. Thanks again, this video couldn't be any better!!

I love Mazda. I have a 16' 6 GT and the interiors on Mazda are very upscale. For me, they look and feel entry level luxury. But, with that being said you can already feel the need for new technology. They need a new engine, new transmission, better rear view cameras and at least from the GT and up a panoramic roof.

Of all of the car review channels on You Tube, your informative and educational reviews are the best hands down. I really like that you always start with a little current history or some trivia on the brand or model before you go into an in depth inspection. I also like how you start your inspection with the front grill and work your way around the vehicle showing details that other reviewers just gloss over. And....your dry sense of humor always gives me a little chuckle and a craving for a twinkie.

@@MelloHubb Your statement applies to every single car or SUV that has different trim levels, not just the Accord. The BMW 5 series has different trim levels that has varying levels of equipment based on trim level, same goes for the Porsche Cayenne....or the Merc S Class......or a Hyundai Accent. The Accord has no performance variant with a unique high output engine (like a Civic Type R). There was one but the model was discontinued around 10 years now. Toyota, VW, Mazda, Nissan, Hyundai/Kia have already released details (Hyundai/Kia) or released the actual optional higher output engine available for their midsize sedan. There are no surprises coming and as it stands, the Accord hasnt been dethroned as the best car in the segment.

Just got a 2022 CX-9 carbon edition 5 days ago. Its loaded and has AWD, black cross section roof racks and ventilated rear seats. We will likely never use the 3rd row seats and will keep them folded down so I could care less about air-conditioning the 3rd row. We bought the CX-9 because it is way bigger than the compact Nissan Kicks we had and can actually get out of its own way! Sticker was $45K and some change. We waited over 2 months for the dealership in south Orlando to get one of these carbon edition's in stock. We paid $44K and some change as they gave us a $1K rebate! IMO no other mid-size SUV that rides like this with this many options can compete with the price. We test drove comparable top of the line models in Hyundai and others and they wanted more and the quality of the materials used for the interior in Hyundai seemed cheap compared to the CX-9. This is coming from someone who has purchased 3 Nissan's and 3 Hyundai's over the years.

Recently, I rented a car for a 1500 mile road trip. My car wasn't ready at pickup, so they upgraded me to a CX-9. I hadn't been in a Mazda for 20 years. I really liked the performance, handling and fuel economy of the CX-9. The lack of a touchscreen isn't an issue and the factory nav got me to my several destinations without issue. It was a base model and one thing did bother me was the hard plastic low on the drivers door where my leg rested against it. Wondering if upper trim levels are better. I'm looking at a signature, but it only comes with captain chairs for second row and I need a bench for my dog. Not a fan of black wheels, but I like it on this.
