Great example, very helpful. One thing here, you calculated the first overlap as if the high where the two lines meet was = 1 but I think it is not 1 it is probably 1/2, is that correct? Or it is supposed to be considered at 1 even thought, it is 1/2 or perhaps less.. Also I notice that in previous examples for constant graph, we do not have to add or subtract t, is that because of the equation of the line here is not a straight line and is it the way to do it for non straight (or constant graph) lines?

Raiya, I realized my second question on my previous comment. It is because after the shifting so t-2 is where the line start and at the end of the line is t therefore --T + t. Thank you so much I finally understood convolution and can do the math, and the region of overlapping with no problem.. God bless technology
