A friend and I were chatting, and we basically realised the main reason we hated Sheldon. It's because despite his obvious mental flaws, Sheldon is easily capable of pretending to be a good person. But he doesn't. Especially with what can basically be called domestic abuse to Amy, he is consciously mean when he knows he can even pretend to be a better person.

Exactly! It's good to see characters grow and of course the show would eventually have turned flat if the writers had completely ignored the issue of nerds and marriage, but the show's whole signature humor has died out. This series was so successful because it focused on maled individuals and their group dynamic, not on couples and their daily life struggles that every other pop culture series deals with. That sure wasn't the way to go! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sheldon has to present valid reasons for the uni to fire him and Raz is not breaking any rules.
