மறக்க முடியுமா ராஜா தியேட்டரை.எத்தனை சினிமா பார்த்தோம்.பெண்களுக்கு ஒரு ரூபாய் டிக்கெட் கடைசியில் இருக்கும்.சுவரில்லாத சித்திரங்கள் படத்தின் விழாவின் போது பாக்யராஜ்,சுமதியை நேரில் பார்த்த பரவசம்.மெளனகீதங்கள் போது சரிதா பாக்யராஜ் பார்த்த சந்தோஷம் எல்லாம் மறக்க முடியாது.ராஜூ செட்டியார் வீடு வைசியாள் வீதியில் மிகப் பெரிய வீடு.முன்புறத் தோட்டத்தில் அத்தனை ரோஜா பூத்திருக்கும்.பக்கத்தில் இருந்த காந்தி ஸ்கூலில் தான் படித்தேன்.இன்னைக்கு அந்த ஸ்கூலைக் கூட இடித்து விட்டார்கள்.பொக்கிஷ நினைவுகள்.கண் கலங்குகிறது.

எனக்கு பத்து வயதுள்ள போது ராஜா தியேட்டரில் வீரபாண்டிய கட்டபொம்மன் படமும் தாய் சொல்லை தட்டாதே MGR படமும் பார்த்து இருக்கேன்.அந்தகாலம் திரும்ப வராதா என்று எண்ண தோன்றுகின்றது.அந்த வழி யாக போகும் போது பழைய நினைவுகள் மனதில் தோன்றும்.நான்கோவையில் பிறந்து வளர்ந்தவள்.நல்ல மனிதர்கள் இருந்த காலம்.

ஐயா வணக்கம். எனக்கு 10 வயது இருக்கும்.எனது தந்தை பிலிம் ரெப்பிரசன்டேடிவ். நான் ராஜா தியேட்டர் வழியாக செல்லும்போது பார்த்திருக்கிறேன். எம்.ஜி.ஆர் படம் வெளியாகும்போது ரசிகர்கள் தியேட்டர் முன் ஸ்டவ் அடுப்பு சீமெண்ணை அடுப்பு வைத்து சோறாக்கி கைக்குழந்தைகளை வைத்துக்கொண்டு எப்படியாவது தலைவர் படத்தை பார்த்து விடுவார்கள். தினமும் பார்த்தவர்களும் உண்டு. எனக்கு வியப்பாக இருக்கும். அன்று கைக்குழந்தை முதல் காலம் முடியும் வயதானவர்கள் வரை கண்டு ரசித்தார்கள். இப்போது புரிகிறது அன்று எம்.ஜி.ஆர் ரசிகர்களின் வாரிசுகளின் உள்ளத்தில் பதிந்த பதிவுகளால்தான் இன்றும் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் அலை தமிழ்நாட்டில் வீசிக் கொண்ட்டிருக்கிறது.

திரு பி ராஜ் செட்டியார் என்ற மிகப்பெரிய ஆளுமையை பற்றிய நினைவு வரும்போது அவர் உருவாக்கிய நகை வியாபாரம் மற்றும் சினிமா தியேட்டர் ஆகியவை கோவை வரலாற்றில் இருந்து பிரிக்க முடியாத அங்கம் கோவைக்கு காந்திஜி வந்திருந்தபோது இவர் செய்த செயல்கள் பொன்னெழுத்துக்களால் பொறிக்கப்பட வேண்டியவை ஏற்பட்ட மிகப்பெரிய ஆளுமையை நினைவு நினைவு கூறத்தக்க வகையில் இந்த காணொளி இருந்தது என்பதில் ஐயமில்லை நன்றி அவருடைய வரலாறு வாழ்வு இவைகளெல்லாம் இன்றைய தலைமுறைக்கு ஒரு முன்னுதாரணமாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே எங்களுடைய விருப்பம்

எங்களது *ஆனந்தா பிலிம்ஸ்* வினியோகத்தில் வந்த பெரும்பாலான MGR படங்கள் ராஜா தியேட்டரில் தான் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. தேவர் பிலிம்ஸ் MGR படங்கள்,என் அண்ணன்,பறக்கும் பாவை,தேடிவந்த மாப்பிள்ளை,போன்ற பலப்பல படங்கள் ராஜா தியேட்டரில் தான் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. திரு PAR விஸ்வநாதன் செட்டியார் நல்ல நண்பர்,திரைப்பட திரையரங்கு உரிமையாளர்,திரைப்பட வினியோகஸ்தர், கோவை திரைப்பட வினி யோகஸ்தர்கள் சங்க ஆரம்ப கால ஸ்தாபகர்,தலைவர். திரையரங்கு உரிமையாளர்கள் சங்க தலைவர் என்று பல பதவிகளை அலங்கரித்தவர். பல சாதனைகளுக்கு சொந்தக்காரர். எங்கள் நிறுவனத்தின் மீது மிகுந்த அக்கறை உள்ளவர். மிகச்சிறந்த பண்பாளர் நண்பர். 🙏🙏👍👍❤️❤️ மிக்க நன்றி சார்

Recall visited your shop along with my father and it was pleasant memory to recall deep affection between them, my father send introduction letter to your grand father for several people in periyar district. My father send order diamond thood(stud) which was a very special item in your shop. Your grandfather send it by register parcel to my father and it will hand it over to concern person. After my father demise i send introduction letter to big wholesalers by your grandfather trainees. Your excellent editing , camera , music have amazed me. This movie is a record of the jewelry business and history of cinema in Coimbatore through Raja Theatre. My great grand father P. A. Raju Chettiar had built it in 1938. My grand uncle Viswanathan was closely associated with the theatre all his life. The theatre was his alter ego. Our town Kovai land mark in the busy market area was our Rajaa cine hall Shri P A Raju the owner of the theatre was a Murugan bakthar.On every amavasya day he used to pray Murugan sannathi in Perur koil. He is a philanthropic soul. I have had his blessings at Murugan sannathi. History of Kovai will be incomplete without PAR Raja cinema hall And kalyana hall and his jewel house.

Raja theatre town hall My movies that I watched during College days 1.Ghilli -- 2004 nearly they run second release as 50 plus days I think ... 2.Chanakaya --2005 ,Sarath Kumar movie in July ( FDFS ) 3.Nalai movie ---2006 After that In 2010 0r 2011 it was closed I think...little bit movies I saw but I can't remember !!! Raja is Raja ....now parking came. !!!! Bro Townhall --- iruthaya theatre , Review pannunga it's near to this and back to Carnatic theatre ...and royal theatre it was closed in 2006 I think !!! It's prakash from Coimbatore.
