I would love to see the science behind determining an unglued tire being due to the fuel... 😂 Hey, it's all good man... Don't know how the logistics work out, especially with sourcing the Nitro, but if it makes you happy and it's doing the job, keep at it! 👍I suspect that fuel is going to continue to get tougher to make/sell. It may well come down to VP being the only commercial seller of model fuel someday - and their fuel was already expensive before the Pandy.

Good to see you're having a go at making your own fuel. I've been making my own fuel for years. Mostly because I have cars planes and helicopters so it's cheaper in the long term, but I also know exactly what's going into it and it's a precise mix every batch.

If it's easy (as in, possible at all) for you guys to get Methanol and Nitromethane it would make a lot of sense for Bones to just offer their oil package with DIY instructions wouldn't it? That's where the magic happens anyways, in the know how around the oil package. Also, always keep in mind there's a good reason Bones offered a different fuel blend for the Italian engines, not as noticeable with the 30% you guys are running but those things are damn picky on our EU fuel :D Be very careful with your dyes too man. It's not a big problem if you always mix fresh and use right after, but it can fuck up a batch real bad if it's sitting for a bit.

Hey. Hope all is well. I havent ran my Losi 8 Truggy .28 engine in 2 years and today i tried to order the Bones 30% Nitro 10% oil mix and found out the bad news. Whats a good fuel replacement recommendation for that mix that ive been using?

I also thought about making my own fuel until I started using Bones, the math made more sense to go with Bones but now, everything is crazy. One question only, where are you sourcing your pure nitro from? I can't find it locally and the only place I find online has it pretty steep in price.
