Credit where its due, the current government has done a huge turnaround in railways. Station cleanliness, customer service and ticket booking is way better now. Kudos to Piyush Goyal!

This Govt has not just made the railways much better but also road connectivity. + Thr were infra projects even fm Vajpayee Govt that were either stalled or going on at snail's pace with increasing cost over runs. Many projects have been revived & expedited. Many that were going on for years have been pushed to completion in 2-3 years - Sikkim Airport, Kolkata Metro, Delhi Western Peripheral Expressway ..

Don't really agree with you brother, my recent experiences with Indian railways hasn't been good at all... starting from the quality of food to cleanliness...may be it's different for different sections but I am talking about 2-3 experiences in the last 2 years...not blaming the government entirely here but that's what I experienced...

@@sounakroy323 I think main problem is the people themselves. Most of them always make the stations and trains dirty by spitting and throwing garbage anywhere. I say this because these days I see our local train stations being cleaned at least twice a day but within an hour of cleaning, it becomes dirty. Government first needs to enforce strict laws against spitting and garbage throwing and punish those who defy. Kids must learn basic cleanliness from their childhood. Then only our stations and trains may change for the better.

Top pick still the new trains in Thailand- 1st class 2 beds to a private cabin or connecting/locking doors to add 2 more, + sink in cabin (and each car has a modern hot shower, kinda miss the old train with hole in floor loo too;). 3rd class winner: Hsipaw/Goitek Myanmar, rockin, rollin and WOW views!

Thank you for the great review. Yes, Rajadhani Exp are great trains. You could have gone to your AC Coach from inside the train too. Also, at the platform itself, there are charts put up before the train comes, showing where on the platform your coach will be. You can stand exactly there, and the coach will stop there. So next time make use of these two options. You donot have to run on the platform and trip over.

Just stumbled across this channel. Excellent video. One suggestion: All AC coaches in normal trains and superfast trains like Rajdhani are interconnected. So, even if you enter AC 3 tier or any other, you may reach first class coach from inside the train.

I have travelled from Delhi to Chennai by both Rajdhani and flight. If I were to ask I'd always suggest you to pick Rajdhani if you have enough time as I am pretty sure a two day journey in this luxurious train is certainly an adventure.

About the coach direction: minutes before train arrives at the platform, coach number gets displayed in small LED screens (which you can notice hanging above, after every few meters). They are easily visible from some distance. You can check them out and navigate towards your coach. What I do is, stand at the centre of the platform, it's easy to move either left or right when coach numbers get displayed and I don't have to rush at the last moment and fear for getting tripped 😄

in mumbai visit south mumbai . north of the city is too crowded . not a touristy city . don't eat too much street food there, can be really spicy . if you are going to goa best beaches there - Palolem , Patnem , Butterfly , Agonda , Anjuna . also dudhsagar falls . south goa has best beaches and peaceful while north goa is busy and for party .

Rajdhani Western Toilets have plastic covers/drapes sort of thing wrapped on the seat that can't change themselves if you press a button. This is the highest level of cleanliness possible in an Indian Train

We have them on a few of our long distance trains, but they are outrageously expensive, and we don't really travel by trains much, here in the U.S. Enjoyable video, but I just find it a bit hard to understand European accents. Hi... For next time pls remember 2 things: 1. Coaches of all premium trains in India example Rajdhani express are inter connected, so pls avoid running. 2. You can also see coach location from engine on web using your train number. Its very easy and always enjoyable to traven in Indian trains.. Cheers
