Rajdher Fort Trek, Chandvad | किल्ले राजधेर - एक अनोखे रत्न ✨| Chandwad Forts | Nashik Forts

Rajdher fort is located in Chandvad district of Nashik.
You have to travel 70km-75kms distance to reach the fort.
From Chandwad you have to reach the base village named 'Rajdherwadi', travel almost 10kms to reach it.
Rajdher fort is believed built 1000 years ago, before the Yadavas dynasty. After Mughal's invasion, they ruled over this area for a few hundred years. Later Maratha captured Rajdher fort. In 1818, the British were able to capture Rajdher too.
It is meant to be built for surveillance purposes over chandwad ghat protection.
On this fort, you will see cisterns, rock-cut stairs, old inscriptions, temples, etc.
