Most of the actors have lost their hairs too but everyone undergoes hair transplantation and every single actors uses makeups while they appear in public. But rajinikanth never wears any makeup or does any unnatural things no matter how big an event it is. It takes huge courage and guts to do that. When once asked he replied that I'm paid only to act in movies I don't want to act in my life. Such a humble personality

As someone who has lived in Tamil Nadu for a while...I think North Indians still don't GET how huge a deal Rajnikanth is for the audiences there. I've seen temples dedicated to 'Thalaivar' and that kind of reverence for movie stars just doesn't exist in North Indian culture vis-a-vis South Indian culture. I'm not surprised a North Indian would be so oblivious about it. Specially an uncle ji in his 60s lol.
