Here is a 40-minute FREE Business training for you - bit.ly/QL_YT
This training will transform the way you build your business.
-------------------
In this video, Rajiv Talreja talks about the 4 different types of employees present in every team. You will learn how to deal with all the different types of team members, what challenges to give them and how to develop them so that they become high-performing team members.
If you want to build a high-performing team in your business who don't act as employees but as your partners, then you need to manage and challenge them in the right manner.
It does not matter if you are a services agency, a product business, or a professional service provider; this video will help you to manage your team in the right way.

I used to be an A category guy. 18 yrs across 3 multinationals awarded 3 consecutive years best sales guy and employee of the year yet was never acknowledged by my boss and always credit was stolen for all the work I did. He kept rising but I was just getting awards but promotions were never on the cards for me. I got frustrated to the core and then left and started my own busuness for the past one year. Today I have a team of 20 people with two other partners with me. I kept struggling on the people handling part as I guess I was never taught how to handle people. This video gave me the critical understanding of what went wrong when I was working and how I should be looking at my people when I lead today. Thank you so much. This was Gold.

This will not work in real life scenario, because A type people work with A type company. And some businesses can’t afford to pay more so they get what they pay for. Appreciation is okay but at the end only one thing matter is how much you are paying. And one more reason A company not only pay your more but give you better perks, facilities and work life balance. Which 70% companies failed to give.
@tiraandaz
@tiraandaz 7 күн бұрын
If they are A players and bringing in business, why not pay them equivalent to A type company? These people are like 4-5% of your entire workforce, so you can afford it easily.

A doesnt mean top company and b means low company ... ! A, B, C grade is among what you have ... A for a tea shop will be someone who can knows the process, sales and looks after old customers and gets new customers. B will be limited with lesser capability and commitment, C maybe new apprentice or serving boy, only tea maker etc . Each company has A, B, C according to its value. You are getting the meaning wrong ... nobody is asking an IITian or Harvard Mba to work in new start up or small company ... ! Similarly big and top companies with same IITians and Harvard Mba will have A, B, C category employees

I'm highly capable, but low commitment. I definitely have an ego and respond to challenges (within reason). I don't get along with leadership who tries to get me to submit. I polish my resume and leave. However, someone who respects and values me, and gives me opportunities to grow, I make quarries out of mountains for.

What a great speech. It truly shows the situation I am facing since 30 years. I am consultant, so I come and go. But I have seen so many capable people, quit their job in their mind, just costing money and prohibiting any progress. Only because their managers are incapable to motivate and to give in that they are not expert of the topic they are responsible for.

Having built quite a few successful businesses this has become one of my favorite topics. This is quite good. However, it’s still lacking as follows: 1) Capabilities (aka skills) are not enough. Results are what one is after, ultimately. Hence”Capabilities” needs to be replaced by “Results” on the matrix here; 2) “Commitment” was largely undefined here and seems to be a catch-all for a lot of different things. Needs more clarity. I would advocate removing “Commitment” and substituting instead “Values” wherein a set of corporate values (or sets of non-negotiable strategically important behaviors which are taken as predictors of future Results) are established and scored for each team member.
