Another Sangameshwar Maratha Princess was taken in marriage by Feroz shah Bhamani Yusuf Adil Shah (1489-1510) invaded Jamkhind and to evade destruction, its Brahmin Maratha ruler Mukund Rao gave his sister in marriage to Yusuf. She was later renamed Punji Khanam or Punji Khatun and she gavebirth to Ismail Adil shah. Shambhaji Bhonsle married his daughter to Sikandar Khan Bijapuri’s son at Mughal court in which dowry of seven thousand rupees was presented by Aurangzeb Himself. Later Sambhaji’s brother Rajaram Bhonsle too married both his daughters to Gond Muslims. Muslim Pindaris were very important to Maratha economy. To seal this alliance, Sardar Bapu Sahib Scindia, a relative of Daulat Rao Scindia married his daughter on 25th march, 1822 to Crown prince Muhammad Wazir Khan, son of Amir Khan Pindari, Nawab of Tonk. Similarly, Harihar II of the Vijayanagar Empire, was succeeded by his son Deva Raya I, who was defeated by Firoz Shah Bahmani and had to pay ten lakhs of pearls, elephants as an indemnity. He also agreed to marry his daughter to the Sultan, which was celebrated with great Show. Along with him, Narsingh Rao of Kherla married his daughter to Firuz. Ahmad Shah Wali, 9th Bahamani ruler married to the daughter of Raja of Sonkhed. Last but not least, Purushottam of Khurda who sent his daughter to Mughal harem.One notable example is the marriage of Shivaji’s daughter, Yesubai, to the Mughal prince, Dara Shikoh, in 1660. This marriage was seen as a strategic alliance between the two powers, as Dara Shikoh was a prominent Mughal prince and a potential heir to the throne. However, the marriage was short-lived, as Dara Shikoh was executed by his brother Aurangzeb in 1661.

I know History of my ancestors They were from Chittorgarh. Chittorgarh King had 18 Different Ministers. Minister who is Treasurer or take Records of Gold Silver was Sonawanis, Minister who deal with letters official documents was Chitnis, Minister who had record of land was Potnis, Minister who arrange meetings was Fadnis, Minister who had record of clothes was Kapadnis. In 1303 Khilji attacked Chittorgarh then he destroyed all nearby villages. After that Many villagers Migrated in Maharashtra. At that time People use to travel along the river side. 7 Brothers from Sonawanis Family settled in Maharashtra. At that time Baglan region was ruled by Pratihar king Bagul who was also from Rajasthan. So some bothers settled here. After that with their bravery they awarded Vatan in 15th century from King of Mulher region Narayanshah dev Rathore. This is history of my ancestors. If Khilji didn't attack Chittorgarh they never migrat

He was Greatest Person of 20th century after Netaji. His Books like 1857 War of Independence were banned and it is said that this book was so famous that it was raised to 300 rupees in 1900s. This was craze of Savarkar. His other books like Moplah and Hindutva too were very popular. He wrote many Songs and plays. He was such a headache for British that he was put in Kalapaani where only the most dangerous Freedom fighters were kept. He was tortured day and night. His hands were tied hours and hours long. Still he stayed still. Such was Iron-hearted Savarkar. He was sentenced 50 years imprisonment. The Communist hate him because he exposed every of them and was really a Rebel against British unlike Nehru and Gandhi. (The Slave Puppets) And he bashed Communists very effectively just with literature that no one around World could do.

Sir Rajputs and their lineages changes from West to East. Their culture changes too. Like I am Chauhan Rajput of Mainpuri Thikana, who are branch of Shakambhari Chauhans but in Eastern UP, Chauhan Rajputs are different and their hierarchy in Rajputs is completely different. In Eastern UP many local Rajputs started saying them Chauhans. And moreover 80% people who write Chauhan Surname in UP are not Rajputs but from SC/OBC castes. Same as in Bihar, MP, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Orissa. May be I sound castiest in the comment but it is identity encroachment.

But sadly, they got no mention in our history books. Even Maharana Pratap, prithviraj chauhan, Guru Gobind Singh, and chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj got remembered only due to folks songs, oral knowledge and Native people's efforts to teach their children about these great souls

Modern day Rajputs are a mix of mughals and hindus. Akbar married a lot with rajputs , Rajputs after losing the battle married with mughals to stay in power as sub-ordinates of mughals... The rajputs paid tributes to marathas as well. overall rajputs cannot be considered kshatriyas because they married with mughals and rajputs are sub-ordinates of mughals.

And what if I give your the data about maratha marrying their daughter to petty Deccan muslims and gujrat muslim marrying in baniya. Our of 36 clans of rajput only 2 marriage happened to muslims and at the same time on the cost of those two women people are neglecting jauhar of more than 50000 rajput women and when it comes to male number who died in wars against muslims it is incomparable to any other community of India. I challenge you to give me any other communities names who fought as many wars as rajputs and shed their blood. Rajputs stopped muslims entering india for 500 yrs. When they entered India rajput defeated them in many wars like sanga defeated lodhi 3 times , hammir defeated tughals, gujarat sultnate , malwa muslims 10s of times , kangra rajput killed 100000 muslims in just a single war against tughalaqs, garhwali rajput were never defeated by any muslims , it was hammir who fucked Tughlaq which became the reason for the origin of vijayanagar , maharana pratap defeated Akbar in Haldighati and dewair. Mewar was never captured by muslims in 700 yrs (except for 20 yrs). Shivaji maharaj claimed himself to be a rajputs from mewar. Chhatrasal bundela and raja Raj Singh ji fucked aurangzeb and rajputs, maratha became the reason for the end of muslim rule

Sir, I too did some research about my own lineage and found that it traces back to the Ramayana era and we are believed to be the descendants of Bharat but factual proof and the number of kings are not clear and very few to be authentic .I don't know if its true...... Ramayana happened a long time ago. #AskAbhijit Sir when is the word Rajput became prevalent to genral usage like not to use in addressing someone but to use it for the word Kshatriya (it certainly seems vanished in the Medieval era)?
