I am still using that number, which has been ported to Airtel and now to JIO 😊. The CEO of Aircel Mr.KVP Bhaskar used to join us during our evening walk. It was golden days and really helpful for all the citizens of India to provide Internet and Calls at much cheaper rates...thank you Sir once again But now India needs and people must use and support Vodafone Idea otherwise there will be duopoly and we all face expensive plans from airtel and Jio, so Vi should survive in India and it will be really helpful for some people, still now I am using my Vodafone sim....

Very interesting. I remember selling shiva computers in the year 1985 in Chennai. That time HCL was a competitor. I remember that when potential customers used to argue that HCL has a better service system than Shiva I used to counter them with the answer that "ok I accept we don't have that reach in service like HCL but then I can solve it.. I offer you two PC for the price of one HCL PC so if one of my computer fails you can use the other till we service your first one😅" And I used to get the order!!! I personally want to thank aircel as this company gave internet in very less price and speed was awsome that time. I was doing CA and watch CA related video on youtube. But internet pack of other company was very costly so i pick aircel for lower price and speed due to that i afford to watch the video on youtube. Thank you aircel 😍

Dayanidhi maran from DMK, Telecom minister is the primary culprit of Aircel downfall. Sivasankaran was forced to sell his stake to Maxis by the then Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran in 2005 in return for Maxis' investment of Rs. 5 billion in a DTH company owned by the Maran family.
