RAK-22 ROMANIAN AK 22LR

We have the GSG AK-22 Zombie Apocalypse Version, but I took off the zombie tape and bandana and sanded and the Tru-Oiled the stock, looks BEAUTIFUL now. About 1000 Rounds through it so far. Zero malfunctions so far. Got it NIB $400 with 6 mags, 3- 30s and 3- 40s. I got a video on my page of my wife shooting it, and my WASR 10.

I bought this same rifle on Sept 16,2024 and I 've been having the same feeding issue (my problem is even worse: it fails to feed 99.9999% with all different brands of .22LR ammo). I have emailed Chiappa's tech support multiple times since 09/20and I have not received any response from them yet. After not hearing from them for 2 weeks, I got tired and took it to my local gunsmiths last Friday for them to fix it. I don't know if it can be fixed, but the estimated cost to fix it is between $85-$125

I bought a Chiappa Rak 22 a couple years ago. I wanted to love it, as I have a Rak 9 and it works great. The Rak 22 I got wouldn't shoot, wouldn't even load the rounds into the chamber from the magazines. Mine came with 2 OEM mags. I had to send it back to Chiappa under warranty, and Chiappa is a pain to deal with. I will avoid them in the future. Chiappa had to send me a replacement rifle becuase they said the magazine well was cut incorrectly. When I got the replacement, I immediately took it to the range to test it, and it ran ok. A few jams here and there but at least it fed. Coupled with the occasional jams there weren't any mags above 10 rounds for this. I did try to adapt a Black Dog Wasr 22 mag for it, and it was so so. I ended up selling the Rak 22, and doing what I should have done in the first place, getting a Smith and Wesson 15-22 like my kids have. I love the 15-22s. Fantastic little rifles.

Is there a phone number I contact them? I have emailed their tech support multiple times, and they have failed to respond so far. My rifle is currently at my local gunsmiths to see if they can fix the failure to feed problem.

wow, if I've seen your video before I bought mine I'd definitelly wouldn't but it. but again it turns out I've got more luck than inteligence: mine came with two mags (pro tip, they are easily modified to hold 13 rounds) and an upgraded mechanism: more stiff spring and straight shaft. IIRC first few rounds had ejection problems but since then it's been reliable and fun. must be 2.0 version. I'm using remington thunderbolt rounds, which I hate as the exposed lead stains everything it touches but might be also easier to load. need to check different bullets. now my only complaint is the mag capacity, getting rid of all 13 rounds takes no time and two mags is definitelly not enough. got some metal AK47 mags with 22LR insert but that insert is too tall, I need to fix some 3d print adapter, we'll see how it works and if it survives the temperature

does the gun's mechanicals incorporate the basic designs of standard receivers meaning you could put a echo trigger into it?
