Very nice episode. Kudrat is one of my favourite movie that I watch everytime whenever it is telecast on TV . Nowadays just like other movies, channels are showing edited version and we lose interest. Priya rajwansh song has now been removed. Sukh dukh ki har ek maal is also removed except for climax scene. They have edited some of the important scenes as well. Panchamda had worked very hard as usual. Songs and background music are excellent, especially when Hema Malini goes to previos birth. That haunting music gives more effect to the scenes. My another observation is, some of the music of 'chhodo sanam..' is similar to the title track of The Burning Train (17:40 to 17:43 in this video) apart from Annette voice in both. May be they were recorded during same period.

Beautiful presentation Rakesh Sir ji. Recently I saw this movie on you tube. A very well made movie with good story, great music, excellent direction, lovely costumes (particularly of Hema and Vinod) etc,. I felt the main reason for non success in box office was wrong casting of Rajesh Khanna as lover boy. Then he was very old for this kind of role. Where as Vinod Khanna was looking dashing . Rajesh was looking pale in front of Vinod. At least if they had inter changed the roles of Rajesh and Vinod the film would have achieved better box office success. Earlier I did not know that there was a very melodious song "sajte hain yuhin mehfil". Superb song.

Loved the episode about Kudrat. I thought it was a hit film but it looks like it was not. The reincarnation theme never really worked for both Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini. But the music was the highlight of this film. All songs are very beautifully shot and have great lyrics. Vinod Khanna looked very dashing as always. I also think he dominated Rajesh Khanna in many scenes. This is the only film perhaps where Raj Kumar played the villain. Priya Rajvansh was glamorous and looked younger than her age. Overall, great presentation, Rakesh Bhai!!! 👌 ❤

Rakesh bhai, agar bura na mane to ek shikayat hai aapse. Pehle aap har roz ya at least 2 dino me naya episode daalte the lekin aaj kal aap 3 ya 4 din ka lamba wait kyon karate hai? Ho sake to at least ek ya do dino me 1 episode to daalte rahiye. Aapke individual artists ke kisse bhi aaj kal kum dekhne ko mil rahe hai. Aur actor-singer ke bhi episodes aaj kal nahin aa rahe hai. The highlight of the movie was Priya Rajvansh..(correctly mentioned as non actor) actually she outclassed Hema M..Hema M's dialogue delivery was like a sore thumb in this aesthetically presented movie...was this a hidden agenda of Chetan sahab to make Priya hogging the limelight...khair Hema M ki dialogue delivery kai filmon mein dangerous hai...almost felt like two non performers were competing against each other..hahaha....on the other hand how nicely you also presented the story between C.Gadgil vs Rafi sahab...jis kahani mein sirf tyag hai...overall...hazaar pranaam aapko....aapko shayad khud nahi pata ke aapke episodes kitne rich hote hain...aane wale salon mein yeh future generation ke liye reference point banenge Rakesh Sir...ek baar phir se bahut bahut badhai..🙏🙏🙏

Work of all actors is Praiseworthy Humein tumse pyar Kitna song Both versions are beautiful at their places Its favourite listed song ❤ I refreshed some memories related such types of songs Many movies has Same songs sung by male singer and female singer, But sometimes with different lyrics, My father used to record such songs in duets styles, one can't believe easily that someone can be fond of this kind of music.❤ I mean adding fun of duets in those songs which are made in solos, I am sharing here names of some of those songs. Good presentation Rakesh So basically Rajesh Khanna ruined his own film. He was always a very insecure person. Maybe that's why he did less of multi starters as compared to Bachchan. I saw Kudrat in 1981 and loved it. I agree it was slow paced. Priya was the scene stealer. Hema was weak. Chetan Anand should have focussed on her. RD Burman's music was great. Do you think Reena Roy would have been a better choice?

No Reena Roy was not good for this.. Chetan failed to get good from hema otherwise hema was good in mehbooba,, similar subject,, overall Kudrat was better than mehbooba 👍👍❤️❤️🙏🙏

Rajesh Khanna was a fading star by the time Kudrat released, his acting was too boring, Vinod Khanna was lot better and should have been given more screen space. Hema Malini looked tired and lesser said the better about Priya Rajvansh. Viewers may have liked her court room scenes but she failed to give even average performance. Music was the saving grace of this movie.
