I don't think that's the reason behind. After the arrival of the overrated Rashmika and Pooja Hegde, she was abandoned by the Telugu film industry and not the other way around. The bitter truth is she is much much better actress than the 2 actresses mentioned

@@Gan123ify i think her flops are the reason she lost her foothold. Even if her last release had been a hit , she would have got more films. Apart from that another reason could be that now she has paired up with all the actors , producers would look for " newer" options isnt it. And thats how rashmika and pooja came up. Or else she has to do female centric movies which arent in plenty in telugu . She hasnt yet played such important roles in telugu that can make producers approach her for the very few female centric films in telugu.

@@radhikarb7047 Has Rakul acted well in even one movie? She was always eye candy and her directors never thought more of her. Hell, Rakul isn't even as beautiful as Pooja or Rashmika. She is truly lucky she came this far. I don't see much future for her since now she's crossed her 30s and she cannot even convincingly play those chirpy girl next door roles anymore. Unlike senior actresses like Samantha, who gradually transitioned to female centric films because she had the talent... So even if Samantha is getting older and the industry is ageist and sexist, her talent will still take her a long way, giving her career the much elusive longevity, which Rakul can't attain.
