Thanks Lee. Appreciate the kind words. The colour is lovely. The chrome is shiny and the whole bike will come together with time. Get it painted then box it up in bubble until parts and mudguards turn up

I still prefer rust and dents bud... But I've been itching to try and do a paint job for months... The colour is lovely. Clean and fresh. Can't wait to get the decals on and the brake calipers

1 of my vespas is matt yellow no shine but looks great great work mike i went out last night to me dads old allotment and found me mk2 rear wheel in a hedge and i found it bin ther since 1986 and is still in good nick unreal 9 stamped on the hub

No hints on the colour but the first coat is on already and looks stunning. Spent another hour cleaning up the wheels, they look just right. Your wheel has been there since the days of the Ford Sierra, that's crazy. Definitely a keeper, what happened to the rest of the bike ?

it went in a skip in about 2000 i know im mad for doing it as well as a raleigh winner racer but ya learn the value of em had sum smart scooters to in the 80s@@dealermike1331

@@guccilover2632 it is what happened back then. I took a fiesta xr2 to scrap and got £20 for it in 2002. Now that hurts now!!. I'm keeping my eyes open for a vintage Raleigh moped, a runabout or something I think it's called

Thanks chap.. I'm looking at a burner at the minute.. perhaps a full respray with some nice period correct red or gold wienham wheels or black skyways.. always on the hunt, just comes down to price and luck 😊
