2008 Chevy Tahoe Lift Gate Inoperative

Here we are trying to figure out what part of the Lift gate is not working. I checked the BCM for any stored codes prior to making the Video and since there where no codes it steered us in the direction of mechanical failure. I have Included some bonus footage since you guys always want to know details.

Thanks for the video I change that part but now it won't closed. When I push the button.after 3 seconds if I push button it will close after that it won't.any info on it why is it doin it . thanks

I replaced the button and it worked for a couple of weeks and now it won’t open again. I noticed it’s intermittent and if I jump the fuse it opens. My guess it’s something with the wiring harness for the button?

i replaced the sensor /button and latch and the only way to open it is by supplying power to that fuse. i have attached a string to that latch to open it manually but it breaks after a while and have to reattach another string

The 2 that go bad are 1 the Liftgate Release Switch(the one I am working on) 15106857 and 2 Liftgate Release Switch that is a round Button and is for the Glass only, that on is available aftermarket. Not filming that is a 30 minute job.

That’s not my problem I have with my power liftgate ,I have trouble after washed my Yukon 2017 it unlocked opened apron 6 inch
