Missed the live stream but lots of great advice. I'm in the process of quitting my ft job and am in the hiring process for a pt job. Need to go pt for a "real" job so I will have more time to devote to Ebay. Best part is my new pt job will be at my fave source site and I'll get an employee discount on already low prices for lots of vintage and some antiques in my niche. Working at my favorite sourcing site does carry quite a few risks, but I'm fairly certain it will be worth it and my goal is to go full time with Ebay in 6-12 months, if not sooner. Thank you sooo much for all the advice you guys provide on KZbin. You guys have also been a fantastic source for motivation. Again, thanks guys!!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your success and ideas to help us! I was actually live in Dave Ramsey’s studio on his radio show in July so it was interesting hearing your take on him. Obviously you and I have differing views (can we still be friends lol) but I can see your point, since you haven’t “misbehaved” with debt. One thing about debt is the risk involved, and that’s one thing he talks about. In your case, you’re set up to counter the risk, so I’m glad you addressed that not everyone is, and it’s not for everyone. Liked and shared, thank you guys for all you do :)

I do eBay part time, work full time and I drive Uber part time (pre-COVID) and will return to Uber at the end of the year. I use eBay as a supplement income as I only get paid once a month.

I sell only part time and the extra cha-ching has helped my family. What I have a hard time with is that I get upset when someone tries to be a scammer or blame me for when something is stolen out of their mailbox. I am trying not to take these things personally but I work very hard to provide a wonderful item at a decent price and bust my butt to ship it well packaged either that day or the next. A bit of a learning curve for me because I am not a "business" minded person and more of a customer service person. Thanks for all of your advice and videos. I am learning!!

Incorporated the advice of tweaking prices little bits on a daily basis over the last few days. I've actually only raised or lowered by a few cents, sometimes it feels suspiciously successful lol i.e. I make the adjustments and make a sale within minutes or within the hour. But I don't need to understand why it works, I'll take it! Thanks!

In reference to the reseller certificate in Texas question...you should file an Unincorporated Assumed Name Certificate (D.B.A.) with the County Clerk in the county(s) in which the business is located and/or will conduct business (even if it's a home based business). Then you apply for a Texas Sales and Use Tax permit with the Texas state comptroller.

I have a reseller permit and I can and have purchased wholesale as a sole prop in WA. I know each state is different but most do offer one. I do however plan to change to a corp once I start making more money etc so I totally agree with you but just wanted to point that out. :)

Hi guys. I love the information you give. I have learned so much from you over the years. I have been on eBay since 1999, but I was off with it dormant for several years. I started back selling a couple of years ago and opened up a store. I just retired from my "regular" job in September and wanting to get more involved with my eBay. I was listing nearly everyday, but haven't lately because I am trying to update and organize my inventory, both what is listed and what is to be listed. I do have a question that I have been trying to find the answer to that I can't find. Paypal would send out a 1099 if you made 20,000 in sales with 200 or more sales. Now that eBay has the managed payments, how does that work with the 1099? If you have the answer it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Connie

Are the cats' left ears tipped? If not, they're probably not spayed. Many vets will spay community cats for free to control the population. If there's a Trap, Neuter, Release program in your area, they'll even lend you a trap. It's so important. We've done several in my neighborhood. Still have to catch 3 more! :(

@@caligrl Poor critters. Google Trap Neuter Release and your county. It should take you to a page that lists vets in the area that neuter for free. The stray animal situation is so bad in Miami that they've actually implemented a program where they pay you $15 for each cat you bring in to animal services to get neutered. It takes several days to get to a cat you bring in, they're so backed up. 😩 We've been taking them to vets instead because I feel terrible to leave them in a cage in there for days awaiting surgery. They're already so scared, better to get it over and done with quicker if possible. I hope you guys can get them neutered and find homes for them. ♥️♥️♥️
