2004 was amazing year Petter Solberg protect his title Sebastien Loeb 2nd full charge for title The new 307 for Peugeot...too bad it had some gearbox problem later on Mitsubishi's return as well

Only in theory. In reality it wasn't amazing at all. 2004 was the beginning of the french domination of the sport. Loeb won that season with a big advantage over Solberg, Peugeot's new car wasn't a solid project, and the Lancer had many flaws despite Mitsubishi testing the car for over a year...

5:14 - “It [Stage 1] was cancelled for safety reasons due to the sheer number of supporters on the stage.” By ‘safety reasons’, they probably mean the high risk of a car crashing into the crowd if it lost control and spectators possibly being killed, that came from there being too many spectators.

First world champion for Sebastian Loeb in 2004... Sebastian Loeb Monte Carlo 7 times winner ie 2003 to 2005, 2007 to 2008 and 2012 to 2013 except 2006 Monte Carlo Day 1 Ditch Fall trap that almost dropped to 2nd when Marcus Gronholm won the 2006 Monte Carlo for the first time in first Ford Focus team

Sorry about the quiet commentary audio on these old uploads. These are taken from the transmission tapes for broadcasters, where the English commentary was on a separate track and could be removed and replaced with other languages. Unfortunately, they were not re-mixed when uploading to KZbin.
