Moral is that if you want drive fast you dont choose fwd car.
Guard rails save lives. The bounce and give that they have as opposed to if you hit just a hard solid surface could be the difference in life or death.

@@iceman10129 yep, in the U.S. on the expressway system there are "GM" walls that a car designer named John Fitch designed while working for General motors. They have a similar concept. Take the impact energy and disperse it so that the impacting car and driver don't take the hit. He engineered a pretty cool car in the 60's that was all about safety and performance but got killed cuz it was based on components from the Chevy Corvair and when Ralph Naders book came out it killed the his Phoenix project. I saw the prototype before. Pretty interesting for 60's. The Fitch Phoenix.

They actually have a very comprehensive liability model, that seems to not be too unfair against the customer (the absolute max you have to pay them if you total the most expensive car without the extra insurance package is 10.000€)

Coming out of Fuchsroehre and into the entry to Adenauer Forst is the scariest part of the whole circuit. Hugely quick, blind, and and barriers are insanely close to the track. It pretty much becomes a street circuit. If you understeer onto the grass, you IMMEDIATELY drift into the barrier. If you over-rotate over the crest, you’re IMMEDIATELY in the barrier. If you get your braking wrong on the uphill, you’re IMMEDIATELY in the barrier.

Ich bin im Jahr nur 2-3 mal an der Nordschleife, aber jedes mal scheint es mir so, dass die Leihwagenfahrer immer Risikoreicher werden. Ich würde die ganzen Leihwagen wie Swift RS oder Clio RS vom Ring verbannen. Die Leute haben doch keine Ahnung vom Fahrverhalten des Autos, was sie sich für eine Stunde mieten. Aber das Auto, was man selbst besitzt beherscht man (hoffentlich) und kann es einschätzen.

Tsoliassssssssssssss it IS a public road with tolls, wether you like it or not doesn't matter. Taking laptimes IS forbidden for quite a while, once again, doesn't matter if you like it or not. You should inform yourself, before you're trying to argue with someone who knows better than you. Just because you've worked in mid europe doesn't mean, that you know better than locals. That's just like saying "I've been to spain once, I know everything now". IF you decide to ever go to the ring, you better make sure to know the rules, otherwise there's a ban waiting for you.

1:07 hits the green at about 200kph (120ish) then tags the s2k at about 80-100kph. he wasn't gonna make it from the get go even if the honda wasn't there

Here you don't have insurance when you are racing/on racing tracks. That's your own risk, insurance is only for normal road-use.

But during Touristenfahrten, the Ring isn´t a racetrack but operates as a toll road (so no overtaking on the right for example)

Every time I watch these I just think of how many wallets got emptied in seconds. Barrier repairs, recovery truck charges, closure charges, insurance excesses, shipping charges, physiotherapy, etc, etc. A very expensive day out!
