Maybe that's the problem, video game plots are just not made for movies due to time constraints but with a tv show you have the ability to tell a narrative over multiple episodes. I mean, that's how let's plays work when it come to long games.

If there really is no stupid Twist Villain than this automatically elevates Wreck-it-Ralph 2 FAR above every Disney/Pixar film released in the last five years!! For real, you know a trend has gone too far when you go into every new Disney film trying to guess which "nice" character is going to be the back-stabber (and guessing who it is is always painfully easy :P)

@@MsBrendalina My guess would have been Yes' assistant based on trailers alone. But that doesn't seem to be the case (still haven't seen the movie, really need to)! Like it was fun the first couple times but it's just getting old. I think it's because of how they do it. Always waiting until the last act thus not giving us any time to redirect our feelings for the villain, if they're gonna keep doing it they should reveal them during the half way mark so we can enjoy seeing this character as a villain and not just a character we liked or suspected for a good portion of the film that we suddenly need to hate/love to hate.

The Princess and the Scrivener Was worried about this too till I saw the movie. Yeah there were some of of those types of jokes, but there was more clever humor than we thought. Just a shame that there are some who are dismissing this film as garbage just because of the idea of Internet referential humor as a whole.

*Firstly, Sonic had the BEST cameo in this movie, hands down... I really liked the climax, I think I related to Ralph and how he felt. In the first movie I showed a lot of Empathy toward Ralph. Finding yourself through your own clouded mind, finding someone who know’s how you feel,and later finding the resolution together. I think that’s why I felt for him as much as I did by the end in this Sequel. Letting people go can be a tough thing to do.
