I remember seeing his face for the first time when he was playing Heathcliff from the 1992 movie, Wuthering Heights. I just froze. He was looking directly into the camera with those piercing eyes that seem to be on fire with passion and anger in the scene. I felt like he was looking straight out of the T.V. I always thought Ralph Fiennes took up with Francesca Annis partly because she reminded him of Audrey Hepburn. Very similar features, style. Also, she was older, about his mom's age and his mother had just died. Unfortunately, men who take up with much older women, tend to ash poorly, some subconscious effort to make the older woman feel more secure. We saw with Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon. The woman looks young but he ages, fast.
