He is very gentle, charming and intelligente. He is in a unique way attractive too and he is one of the most underrated actors of our time.

I remember seeing his face for the first time when he was playing Heathcliff from the 1992 movie, Wuthering Heights. I just froze. He was looking directly into the camera with those piercing eyes that seem to be on fire with passion and anger in the scene. I felt like he was looking straight out of the T.V. Such an incredible actor and still a very attractive man since those days...

SoothingChime15 yes he has all carisma, talent and looks. I am 16 and I love this kind of man but you can't find them often in those days.

He was great as Heathcliff but my favorite Heathcliff has to be Tom Hardy. That man is amazing.

So agree with you and with the new acting generation, I think Christian Bale is the closes we have to Ralph Fiennes but still Ralph will always be my number 1 actor

Hard to believe that's the same guy that played Amon Goeth in Schindler's List. He seems so kind and down to earth in real life. A true actor! 👏🏻

It seems I am not alone in being fascinated with Ralph Fiennes. Watching his many interviews on KZbin is not giving me a deeper insight into him. He seems continually guarded.
@jaclyntamura53477 жыл бұрын
Sandra Stone I think he's guarded because I hear that he is actually a very shy person. And of you watch some of his interviews you can sometimes see his shyness
@StargazerNorth16 жыл бұрын
There’s a very interesting interview with him in Vanity Fair - it’s the Proust Questionnaire, and some of his answers seem deliberately deflective, possibly as a result of all the attention his private life has attracted in the past. I’ll see if I can find the link for you, he’s a fascinating person.

He's English. He's reserved. It's entwined with having good manners. Americans think we should talk about everything. The English do not.

You are amazing Ralph. I cried on a last scene Eugene Onegin and Coriolanus...You have no Idea what kind of power you have to influence on people.. This is how I see you No, my dear, beauty is not fleeting. You believed in that (incorrect) phrase when you first passed by the beauty for some reason without noticing it. Beauty is eternal. Our ability to perceive it is fleeting.

I always thought Ralph Fiennes took up with Francesca Annis partly because she reminded him of Audrey Hepburn. Very similar features, style. Also, she was older, about his mom's age and his mother had just died. Unfortunately, men who take up with much older women, tend to ash poorly, some subconscious effort to make the older woman feel more secure. We saw with Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon. The woman looks young but he ages, fast.
@randombrokeperson Жыл бұрын
Interesting you say this - the reverse also happens - when a woman is the significantly younger partner, she’s prone to aging faster and looking stressed. Maybe it’s an “older partners steal youth” thing?
@almasyapologist Жыл бұрын
Yeah I notice he ages faster in the early 2000s, now that he’s single he hasn’t change much since early 2010, despite the hair.
