@@tonybiggs.the.illiest the potential was there, I just think he tried way too hard to be "Hood", and I don't think that's who he really is deep down. I've heard some of the unreleased tracks he's worked on... Some of them are truly inspired and showcase a missing voice throughout the 90s and early aughts. I think he was just around the wrong people and felt a strong sense of false loyalty to the wrong people.

That info was shown in the BET miniseries. They are all talented individuals but none is greater than the whole. David Ruffin had a good solo career but never reached the heights like he did with the temptations. Same thing for the members of new edition.

I like that in the movie, we got to see why BBD did what they did to replace Ralph. It's one thing to do your own "growing" outside of the group you're with, but it's another to insult your group members - from what I remember in the movie Ralph did to BBD. His ego was getting out of line.

If it BBD and Johnny Gill...it would’ve been like watered down version of Jodeci. Johnny and Ricky Johnny had a baritone voice and Ricky’s voice is similar to JoJo from Jodeci..just a thought though
