Replacing rear shocks on a 2018 Ram 2500! Very simple install, Ram just puts the top of the shock nut in a wierd location. Won't stop an install though. Let me know if you have any questions!

You DO NOT need to remove wheel well. Buy a stubby or cut an open end down. Put it on top nut. Comes off no problem. You're welcome!

Steering stabilizer kit went on today. This is my next project. I’ve noticed a lot more squeaking in the rear since the level kit install and all the mods up front. Not sure what shocks to go with though

Gabe Gutierrez Depends on budget and if you want to install different rear coils in the future. Some shocks are rated for stock rear suspension, and some are for lifted rear suspensions.

MOTOR HEAD think about some Bilstein 5100s. Not real expensive but not cheap. Not ready for crazy expensive Fox shocks. And not real sure about the rear coils

The number of threads is completely irrelevant. If you have a thicker or thinner / harder or softer bushing that completely throws off your theory.

Cummins6.7 Mike They have been riding fine, still have them on there. They took care of the bed rattle is used to have when I went over bumps. It still happen, but only like 25% of the time. That’s all I really wanted at the time. I do know there are more expensive shocks out there, and am contemplating upgrading them. The deciding factor is if I keep the rear shocks or go with thurens rear coil kit.
