So just run the wires from both sides to each respected headlight and tap into headlight and turn signal? Is there a way to run it so the amber will come on with drl and still run as turn signals while also having it turn white with headlights?

That is correct 👍‼️. There are only two wires one for blinker, and 2nd for headlight. When blinker is activated it turns amber and white. When running drl they are amber, once headlights turn on they go led white blue.
