Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins BD Manifold Install

Replacing the stock manifold on a 2014 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel with a BD Pulse Manifold, the number 1 and 6 cylinders were leaking by the gaskets. The BD manifold includes ports for your egr, so it is completely emissions friendly. It offers better airflow and with its two piece design it gives it more free movement.

How are you making out with that BD 2 part a year later?? This is my 4th manifold (2 stock, 1 dealer aftermarket and now BD)... squealing yet again!!! Thinking gen 2 conversion...

Everything is still good, It didn’t stay nice and pretty black it’s starting to get a little bit of a rusty look other than that seems good. I can hear the slightest difference in sound but nothing you would notice if you didn’t know the manifold was changed.

Was the problem just the exhaust brake squealing or was it down on boost PSI as well? Mine has the squeal and just started doing it under load. Shortly afterwards it only pulls 13PSI under load in 6th gear, maybe 18PSI in 5th gear. It used to pull 29PSI under load 🙄

@@jonringard5080 When I first noticed it it would only come on when the exhaust brake kicked on but eventually it got bad enough where it would always have that exhaust leak but I didn’t notice any loss in boost pressure.
