Dude, so much has changed since I was in the nerf community! I’m glad to see an OG still creating content for the next generation of modders. Left the community around the same time that Jerm781 stepped out, but I come back to check up on y’all every now and then. Cheers 😁

One of the only 'real gun' kits I actually want. A bit chunky, but still nice looking! For the Snikkas cage bit, what all darts have you tried shooting through it? FVJs aren't great for it, but it should be shooting any squishy-type just fine. And what motors with it? It's sounding a bit crunchy on the rev which could mean the wheels aren't aligned perfectly or something.

FVJs, and streamlines. I do have some Accufakes - have yet to try them but I heard they should work well. Those motors are really, REALLY old motors... i think... wolverine?

FVJs won't have too good of a time in a lot of cages.

Ok, yeah you were right dude! I do enjoy this kit even more than the other. And like Bobo said, FVJs don't work so well with the Snikkas cage. I've even had the "elite" knockoffs that still have a squishy head but solid plastic base and stem for the head trash a set of flywheels in one of my Snikkas cages. Jammed in the flywheels until I pulled the mag and then it shot. But it jammed just long enough to cause the flywheels to slip on the shafts after that. Happened just before Endwar last year, and it was my Endwar primary. :( Had to order new flywheels from DRS. I'll only ever shoot koosh, waffle heads and Accustrike/Accufakes out of my Snikkas cages now.

pSykSG They get the best velocities out of the DRS cage. At least the old gen 3 koosh. They had really nice thick robust foam. Still have a few hundred of them, I love those darts. The new koosh have about the same foam as everything else, so velocities are closer to that of elites. Waffle and Accustrike are still more accurate but drop velocities to the 115-125 range for the most part.

I gotta be honest - I rarely run 3S lipos. But so far, for all my 2S usage, as long as it's not the wires that comes stock in a nerf blaster, they all seem to hold up pretty well.

Oh that's pretty sweet! Something I can consider doing. I just dislike working with the jam door because of the material it's made of. It kinda "peels", if you know what I mean.
