Ram Front Driveshaft Removal to Install New U Joints

I pulled mine at a rest stop & didn't mark the bolts, so I was wondering if the bolts with the washers go on the diff side ?

@@HoldenPowell_ I kinda thought the rusty looking ones would go on the axle since they are lower to ground & catch more environmental elements to make them rust quicker, but I could be wrong

I wanted to know how you got the other side off. I’m working on a 2022 Ram 2500 and cant get the drive shaft off the T case

It’s took an hr and I just used a wrench I think but it was a pain but I got it to wear it would free spin and I put a pry bar in the lower end to stop it when I needed to break a nut loose

My ‘07 3500 doesn’t have the clips in the front. The cups actually protrude out of the yoke.

@@RandoManSavage They have some kind of plastic you melt out (stock), and then when you replace you use and internal clip u joint.

So I have a 2017 ram 2500 that's giving me an intermittent vibrations. So it vibrates for a few second then stops for a few second. Only at highways speeds. Have you experienced this?

Yeah im trying to get it to free spin but it wont. Tried putting the transmission and 4 wheel drive in neutral but still doesnt want to spin. Thanks for the response!

Just buy a completely new front ds they’re like $400.

400 driveshaft is trash. Ask me how I know. I had to rebuild my old one and still using it 9 years later. Luckily I didn’t scrap my old one.
