Hmm I've got a ''22 Power Wagon on 37" Toyo MTs and I'm in North Idaho. I love them in deep snow. No mud tire is great in shallow packed snow/ice vs an AT tire, but you also look like you are aired up fully in the video. I know it's an old video, but I run mine at 8psi when off-road and the difference is absolutely insane. Wheel on!

These tires were meh until aired down into the single digits. Then they really wake up.

PW looks good. I like how the back wheels on the Jeep Cherokee did not roll, still in park, foot on brake or e-brake on. We will never know. Be safe out there. Happy New Year !

Looking for a better tire for snow too. Gonna keep my Toyo M/Ts for off-road only til they are worn out

Yeah, I think I'm saving mine for the summer. Probably going back to a 35 AT as it was overall good all around tire. Doesn't look as awesome, but good daily driver/highway/towing tire.

I wouldn't think they'd be very good on ice either, as there is pretty much no siping as I recall.

Nice video and drone shots. Wonder if the little Jeep had his e brake or rotor and pads froze together.

why was the Jeeps rear views locked up while pulling?

I wondered that too after the fact. SMH

E brake was set, OR, rotor froze to pads. Sometimes just after braking, which obviously warms up the rotor just enough to melt snow, if you stop after driving through deep snow such a it takes to get stuck, and then stop, the melted snow in the rotor then freezes the rotor and pads together thus looking like the ebrake had been set.

With Jeep Cherokees, as soon as you get out of the drivers seat, the electric e brake automatically engages. The driver probably got out and got back in without realizing.

Just out of curiosity, have you done any lift to your suspension, everyone tells me that I can't fit 37s without modifying my suspension? I have a 2014 PW and I've come to the end of the lifespan of the factory Duratracs (42k)... Thanks for your input.

Whoever that "everybody" is, they're talking out their butts. :p Are you on forum.powerwagonregistry.org/index.php ? So for starters, I have thuren's front coils, but out of the gate you can fit 35's on the stock wheels without rubbing with no lift. You can also go ahead and stuff 37's in there too, but they will rub on the sway bar and probably the inner liner on turns and when you stuff them. But all you need is a level, say 1 or 2 inches. They may still rub the sway bar at full lock depending on the tire. It's kind of hit or miss with various tires. MT's rub, some with AT's have no rubbing. Don't run anything larger than a 12.50 wide tire and you won't have any issue. Various offsets can fix or make the problem worse.

Thanks for the info, mine is still completely stock, but I have been contemplating a leveling kit and will be going with the Cooper STT Pro tires. Ram should've at least given us 35s as the stock tire, I have no complaints with the Duratracs, other than being too small (wheel wells definitely need to be filled). Happy wheelin'!

It's Kinzer but I don't think you can get one made now. I just checked yesterday and the site says sold out / not available.

Did you change the axle ratio from 4.10?

Nope.
@rich74477 жыл бұрын
When did Dodge go to 4.10? The PW were 4.56 for the longest time.
@OffroadTreks7 жыл бұрын
When they moved from the anemic 5.7L to the 6.4L in 2014. That is also when they fixed most of the suspension issues and switched to radius arms and coils.

No - but I am going to 4.88's later on. I have other things on order for now, such as King shocks.
