I'm headed to the 6" ReadyLift with all the trimmings and, was wondering if 37s would work out - I don't have a wheel / tire option yet - so, I really would be going out of my stock 20x9s to something else. Still no idea what that would be, with the off-set and the tires.

Oh yeah you totally could. It'd be like a mile. You can come in form the other side too, but it's longer off road. A year later that rock and stuff was cleared, then there was a landslide in 2019 and I hear the road is back open again and cleared. But I haven't been out in that spot for while now.

So did the sliders bend or dent after that? That was a really hard hit with a heavy truck! I’m about to build a set for my 6.7 Cummins. I’m pretty sure White Knuckle uses DOM for their outter tube.

Love the video. Question. Nitto makes a 37x11.5r17 and I want to try and fit it on my 2023 power wagon with stock wheels. Do you think it will work? Being an inch narrower than the common 12.5 width, do you think it will rub?
@OffroadTreks

Probably fit better. Awhile back there were tall skinnies from Goodyear people were running a 37x10.50 they don't make them anymore. But supposedly lno rub. They were popular with Jeep guys.

Hmm I've got a ''22 Power Wagon on 37" Toyo MTs and I'm in North Idaho. I love them in deep snow. No mud tire is great in shallow packed snow/ice vs an AT tire, but you also look like you are aired up fully in the video. I know it's an old video, but I run mine at 8psi when off-road and the difference is absolutely insane. Wheel on!

Take the wheel end off and rotate it so its pointing out the front. Put a socket or piece of tubing between the pitman arm and the drag link, and lift. Big long lever works everytime. 💪

Im wanting to put the largest diameter tire on my 2021 Ram 3500 Limited 4x4 Mega Cab NOT Dually with stock 20 inch wheels. I just rolled over 100k Km on it and Ive only had it 2 years. I did a factory order. I have currently worn through about 50% of the fourth set of tires already. Which I know is insane. I have to have somewhat of an agressive tire as I haul heavy loads through mud and snow daily in the business Im in Im also on the highway alot obviously by the miledge. I forgot to mention I also have the 6.7 HO Diesel with the Aisin tran. Its a very heavy truck and Im hauling loads up to 18000 lbs plus my truck at 9500 lbs. Im eating tires like crazy. Now heres what my latest research has led me..... BF Goodrich K02 have the highest heat rating which is something I never considered but I am now. But here is my other dilemma. I also have the air bags in the rear suspension for leveling. I dont want to do any lifting, no wheel changes, or and mods that way. I just want to know with all of that in mind what is the largest diameter tire that I can put on it with no rub or very minimal rub. I dont care about having a wide tire. Im not after a look, Im after functionality with more circumference to last longer. Prefer 10 or more ply tire for strength. 37x12.5 ? 37x11.5? 39x11.5? or is it 35x12.5? Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

It is not a winch bumper. Because I have a power wagon, and the winch is in the factory cradle between the frame rails. This is just one that is high and tight.

Is it bad for the auto transmission and 4x4 system to go from 235/50/19 (oem size) to 235/55/19? I want a more comfortable tyre but i'm afraid that the bigger overall size would affect the automatic transmission and 4x4 system over time

Stock Power Wagon Suspension at the time on the stock 33's - a bone stock wagon can do most of the trails in Moab. 35's will make a lot of stuff easier. 37's will have you clearing everything easily. We've run lots of Power Wagons through Moab over the years.

Oof! Tight squeeze. We’re you able to do the rest of the trail no problem I’m your full size? I think I heard some scratching in the video. Think you could have done it without hitting the rock? I drive a 2020 power wagon and I’m wanting to do this trail. Just trying to figure out if I can do it!
@OffroadTreks
@OffroadTreks Жыл бұрын
I never hit anything. We did place some traction boards under there. We put 3 full-size trucks through that pass, all Power Wagons. 3rd Gens have an easier time. But no one got a dent. It just looks tight on this end. If you saw from the rear, it's not as bad. We did the whole trail, no problems.

God I hate how loud the trucks get. You do not get to hear your music, people talking, you do not get to enjoy off roading as much, unless you ONLY care about engine noises for 8 hours straight. Making the trucks that loud really kills the fun in a lot of ways, with virtually no gain. A compliment from a redneck now and then is really it. Neighbors telling you to shut up is the other part. I guess if you love pissing people off and limiting your comfort level, go for it. I added back my muffler when I bought my 6.4 hemi because it was ridiculously pointless to have it that loud. Especially out in canyonlands, or whichever southwest area you are in, the rangers HATE loud trucks and it can get your vehicle banned from entering certain national park areas, even.
