Done by a vetted shop with KOH/similar backdrop - that can handle higher speeds (BUSINESS) but also crawling/articulation (PARTY) - yes, a Mullet. 39" tires minimum, 42's for the win. Hahahaha dude i'm 100% down!! If they offered the PowerWagon with the hellcat engine and some nice suspension it would be game over! Wish I had that front locking diff or an ELSD or even the G80 would be nice! 40s or 42s would be insane!! A few people are trying to get me to reach out to some portal companies to get a custom build. That would definitely require a GoFundme haha

Haha thanks brotha! So we've got around 80lbs of tools on board including the 34 or 35mm axle socket but i personally havent changed one before and I wasnt about to make my 1st attempt on the side of the road with a 2-year-old and a wild bear puppy haha! If you've got a good YT vid that shows the process, point me in the right direction! All I've seen are guys with older rigs having to saw their truck in half to get it out 🤣🤣

Rick, I’ve had 3 boots crap out on a stock truck. One leaking bad in the 10 mile drive home. I get the angle thing, but I don’t know if it’s really that big of a difference causing failure. How are stock boots crapping out explained? I think defective boots…..never an issue on my leveled raptor axels.

So no one has fully found the exact issue but some evidence points to them being overfilled with grease which, in turn, leads to premature boot failure. Also the CV angles are rather high from the factory. So once the truck is lifted further, the boot accordions (not sure if that's a real term) rub each other more and more and which also causes them to fail. Then there's the small percentage of purely defective CVs like 1 we had that completely imploded 5 mins onto a dirt trail. Lots of drama with the CVs no doubt. I look forward to seeing how long these ones last now that we got the diff drop on there and made the CV angle less radical. Also will be watching to see how the new RCV axles (just released for our TRX) hold up. Maybe the combination of diff drop and RCVs will be the ultimate solution but man that's expensive!

No CV issues at all since the diff drop. Just did our 3rd offroad run since install. 🎉

@@fullthrottlerick199 great content and info by the way. yes axle rear shaft left side. It shakes after 60mph. That’s about the only issue I ever have with my Trx , axles can’t handle all the off-roading. Definitely need something better once warranty is over.
