hi.. love to see your video... sometime, when seller doesn't answer your question, don't think they are arrogant 😄 they may be stall workers from abroad such as Thailand or Indonesia.. some of them are not fluent in English. when you bought desserts earlier, the two women spoke Indonesian... all Malaysians can speak English because it is a must subject in school.. few tips of malaysian food - some foods taste better when it's hot, for example fried bananas, kropok lekor, roti canai.. - there are foods that should be eaten with rice or other foods -always ask "how to eat" -if the seller is busy, ask somebody next to you, they are willing to help you

When you buy those blue rice, look for those with a lighter (dull) blue. Not those bright blues (colouring). Real blue rice (nasi kerabu) uses butterfly pea flower to infuse the color which resulted in dull blue.

I think it is a chicken curry (ayam masak kari) you try to find. Normally we cook chicken curry and added with potato. But the gravy can be watery.

What you’re trying to find is call bergedil , the potato mix with chicken or beef

I googled it and it’s not that, the dish I was looking for is more of an stew with chicken and potatoes in spicy sauce, I’ve seen that with Nasi Lemak. Thank you for your input and suggestions.

@@dananna8614 bergedil is one of the side dish with nasi lemak, besides sambal there are also gravy called "rendang" popular side dish for nasi lemak. I don't think there is stew in original authentic nasi lemak

Buying food from Bazaar you need to warm it (such as in microwave) before eating in order to get a good tastes of it due to its been prepared few hours before at the bazaar...

Actually it 's chicken curry with potato. Usually the potato cut into half and cook together with chicken.

@@dananna8614 oooh its definitely chicken curry then. Often cooked with potatoes and sometimes with tomatoes as well. You can also try eat the chicken curry with roti jala (yellow lace pancake) its a locals favourite or just dip it with bread slices if you have leftover. Enjoy your food and cant wait for your next video!
