Loren,I loved your vlogs. Keep it up sweetheart. I would like to recommend you guys to try dates with: 1- Dates with tahini dipping sauce it’s like a classic but really good. Adding nuts is game changer. 2-Dates with mascarpone cheese, it’s really hard to find in the store but worth it. 3-Ground dates, shredded coconut “roasted”, tahini dipping sauces. I called it tornado dates recipe.😂😋

Hey, the mirror thing is not true. It’s only a distraction if you look in it. Scholars have said it’s fine otherwise, but some cultures think it’s wrong with no solid evidence of that.

Because we shall do our prayers clean, we do a Washing ritual before and wear clean clothes. In our everyday clothes can be dirt or dust. And we shall cover our heads during prayers. Sorry for my bad english 😀

We believe modesty is a practice of god consciousness and praying is when we’re talking to/ worshiping our creator, so we cover ourselves out of a sense of respect and humility.(That’s how I like to think of it!) also men practice modesty in prayer too- hope that helps

Thank you for sharing these videos - I've just discovered your Family's videos by chance on a lazy Monday night. I have a genuine question on which I still don't have any responses: How can one reconcile the practice of a Religion with the use of social medias? More concretely, how can one reconcile the Holy values of Female's intimacy, Humility, Discretion with the use of the social medias? For instance, Is the recording in your bedrooms, bathrooms, the typical "temple" of human intimacy, compatible with a honest Religious practice? Again, I do not know the answers. You may respond that any practice has to evolve with the modern life - That would be a fair point. For instance, I understand the concept of sharing Ramadan recipes on youtube because Ramadan is whole about 'sharing' and "generosity". But sharing to a certain extent: What about products' placement in your bathroom? Or Religious rituals in your bedrooms? Do men have to wear this prayer outfits or do they just pray in whatever clothes they are wearing? My guess is #2. There are so many stringent rules, especially in dressing, that apply to women whereas men get off Scott free, pretty much, i.e. not covered from navel to knees, wearing short shorts and t-shirt while women are made to cover up in sweltering weather
