Why not Electrical Engine from Bangalore itself? Is this route from Bangalore- to Erode not fully electrified?
@TravelwithRam6 жыл бұрын
Ramachandra Puttaiah This train uses the Bangalore - Hosur - Salem -Erode route. The section between Bangalore and Salem is not electrified and hence the diesel traction.

why there is dual engine?
@TravelwithRam6 жыл бұрын
The reason is that Between Salem & Bangalore there is NO electric traction and hence they have to use a Diesel Loco. Since ERODE is a Depot station they have chosen this station for the interchange. Hope this explains.

no I am not satisfied I am asking that why there is dual or 2 engine?
@TravelwithRam6 жыл бұрын
Oh Oh, Are you asking why there are TWO WDM3A locos?. The answer is : This is a 21 Coach train and to maintain sustainable speeds of 90+ KM/Hour you need more than 3000 HP which a each Single WDM3A cannot provide. Also between Bangalore & Salem the are steep gradients in the Mutthampatti Ghat section. That is why they use DUAL or 2 WDM3A's. But a Single WDP4 Diesel Loco can provide enough power and that is the regular link on most days. See me latest Video on the same train 12677 linked by a WDP4D with interchange at ERODE.

while coupling engine why are flag wave
@TravelwithRam7 жыл бұрын
Flags are used to indicate how close the engine is to train, helps the driver to coast smoothly to as close as possible. If you watch closely you can see the difference is the flag waving!!!

Most irritating to the eyes...why keep on editing and editing..the otherwise good shoot has become a patchwork and spoilt. Why is the photographer so impatient....... coupling a loco to a train is an important vital operation...why edit .
@TravelwithRam7 жыл бұрын
FYI, very little Editing was done!. The important sections are reproduced intact!.
@rajarams59887 жыл бұрын
The term " important " is very wide, what one thinks unimportant and edits may actually be important to another...eg : the shunt signal below the starter for the diesel to move out.being taken " off " for the diesels to move out....changing of the points for the AC loco to move in.....anyway one cannot make everyone happy and if one is not impressed with the video we can just log out......

you are right-it's like in the movies a little boy is walking down the road and next thing he is a grown up type of thing- in this instance was annoying.
