After the Chidima citizenship fiasco, Cyril Ramaphosa's timing could not have been worse. I am not South African, but South Africa's backlash is completely understandable..infact any functioning African country would have behaved the same

It is hard to imagine South Africa would supply free passports to Nigerians. Do you mean South Africa will permit visa free entry to Nigerians?

This is crazy Ramaphosa his the most corrupt idiot he never loves SAns his rubbish
@GK222_29 күн бұрын
It's not even that. SA has simply digitized the whole VISA application process for Nigerians, meaning they can apply online & simply fly in and not have to present their papers at the airport - as long as the VISA application has been approved online. CR really screwed up with his wording
@efosaagbonlahor418727 күн бұрын
Since this visa free started have you seen Nigerians rushing to South Africa. it's capital NO
@brettarendze720226 күн бұрын
Offcourse they won't go if it's legal or free. Why would they want to do something legal or free, there's no crime in doing it then they will be documented and unable to dodge the law as easily as they are used to. That's the capital NO. No crime No fun, the Nigerian way🎉
@tho8831523 күн бұрын
Do you have a comprehension problem? There is nothing as visa free for Nigerians. Nigerians are still required to apply for visa but keep their passport with them.

To me my sister ,this is a business informed decision ,not a political decision..Most of Ramaphosa's decision are not for the people of SA..they are based on his business interests and his peers..not for us

Let me fill you in on the difference with a UK passport the probability of coming to South Africa and overstaying or not leaving at are close to 0 in South Africa we have thousands of Negerians that are here ilegaly I myself got a Nigerian woman deported for assaulting me after I tried to evict her from one of my properties for not paying rent she had been in South Africa 22 years ilegaly . See the difference I can bet you that UK passport holders living in South Africa ilegaly are probably 0 or you can count them on one hand .

I don't know what they're trying to accomplish with this, but maybe enforcing a legal approach to the already present there would be better. I'm all for African people being able to travel more freely within Africa and the cease of the border corruption but we got admit that before getting there there's work that needs to be done.

Nigeria has 4 times the population of South Africa if 27% of Nigeria is sent to South Africa they could have a monopoly on the vote given time and citizenship. What is the goal? trade agreements with law and order make sense for everyone otherwise sounds like chaos or even monopoly?

Lol it's not as if South Africa is handing out free citizenship to the Nigerians, they won't all be naturalized because drug dealing isn't a special skill, also this isn't visa-free access per se, it's just a digitalization of the visa application process.

There are many wealthy Nigerians..Hopeing they invest into South Afriaca and her people. Unity is must. Africans need to move freely to access various markets that are domimated by foriegn nations who ultimately pull the wealth out of Africa. Plans should be in place by SA govermnent to fast track solid programs to abolish poverty and low standard living in this wealthy country. Borders with some restrictions should be open to all African descdents. Taking care of the nations people is key. Nothing else matters

The wealthiest set of Nigerians NEVER stay out of Nigeria.Nigeria is one of the few countries whose entire former Presidents never live abroad or in any African country.They may visit a country for a few weeks but they always go back to Nigeria mostly within 10 days .It's the youthful group of Nigerians sense of adventure makes them to take unnecessary risks to visit very unfriendly places. There are millions of Nigerians who don't care at all about what goes on outside Nigeria. I have travelled to many countries including your country but I rarely spend 10 days anywhere .

Ramaphosa didn't say free visa for Nigerians to SA. He said qualified Nigerians. It means it is not for average Nigerians, but those with economic value. This presents good business opportunities for South Africans. To invest in SA, one must have a minimum of 10 million rands. How many Nigerians can afford that? Please, understand and stop misquoting the president.
