Rabi Jacobson, , Thank you very much for your great lectures and lessons. You mentioned that the Rambam mentions (even emphasizes) that Shmaya and Avtalyon are Gerim, also Rabi Akiva and Rabi Meir are offspring's of Gerim. Just wanted to share my thoughts that maybe the Rambam, Loyal to his method, that Every Person Can be as righteous as Moshe Rabeynu, wants to teach us that even Gentiles can reach such high level and that it is all up to US! No one can say, I can't study I wasn't born as Ben Torah etc...it is up you.

Torah says, in Israel there's no Moses like Moses. But in the brotherhood of Israel there's a Moses. Had Rambam studied this part of the Torah, he would've been a muslim at heavenly abode.
