Because I have depression, I don't feel happiness or excitement very often. Just being content is the best I can get sometimes. However, I find myself actually feeling excitement because I will be getting my first dog in the coming months. I'm 33 and have wanted a dog so badly for so many years and now I'm finally in a position where I can get one.

Hi Steven, I also have had severe bronchial asthma since my early childhood. It sucks big. Almost died from it back then. When i was eight, I read a Donald Duck story set in the year 2000 and I started to silently cry because I *knew* I wouldn't live to see it. so, i can relate to living on borrowed time. That aside, I'm really feeling bad about having reduced my already small patreon contribution - I don't yet know how it works out with my early retirement pension. I totally understand still having boxes a year after moving. I moved into a smaller appartment in Dec. 2014 and still have to create room for the content of 36 boxes full with Donald Duck, Jazz records on vinyl, and DVDs. And as always, my best wishes for your health. I hope preparations for the gastric surgery are making progress. --

What makes me happy is comedy. KZbin comedy, memes, stand-up. All of it. But lately I've been feeling really alone because I'm homeschooled and I now realize how near impossible itll be for me to meet new people and get into a relationship now. Plus the fact I don't have many friends I can hangout with that I know from highschool (back when I went to public school). Things have honestly been really tough for me lately. But at least your videos make me feel a bit better Boogie. Thanks.

What makes me happy is seeing the people around me be happy and sucessful. Whether that be family, friends or even just watching this video and seeing you happy, it gives me a contagious happiness and motivation to keep going with life. Each lesson I learn is a step towards the person I strive to be so if I can lay in bed at night and honestly say that I've bettered myself as a person today, then I'm happy. Similarly if I was able to make someone else happy and/or help them in some way, that's even better. Love ya Boogie, keep it up legend!

Glad to see you having the much deserved success you're getting Boogie. What makes me happy is seeing people like you who work so hard get up in this world. It can so difficult to make a living and be happy doing it, and I commend you immensely for achieving that! I hope for everyone out there to have success in their life and to find happiness with a mate they love. I think that life is good when you have possessions and money, but real happiness comes from having someone who loves and supports you and by having a purpose when you wake up in the morning. I try to do that every day, and I thank my wonderful mother for being that individual who gives me love when there's no one else out there! Much love brother!!

I think what makes the happiest is when progression in my life is visible to myself and not just to others. In two very odd examples I switched from one retail job at Bass Pro to another at a book store. I was MISERABLE at Bass Pro but since moving to this book store things could absolutely not be better, I was promoted to a merchandising specialist position on my third week or so! The other example being that my friends introduced me to the Monster Hunter series and I was SO bad at it. Until recently anyway, we took out an event quest Akantor last night (very difficult) and I got a weapon that absolutely wrecks house and I honestly am proud of how my own determination drove me through the game. Whether it be for employment or video games I guess I'm happy being able to see my own progress. Thank you Boogie.

Games or any other media cannot be "objectively" good or bad. It's all subjective. Something that might be good for someone might be bad to someone else, there is no quota that exists for meeting the requirements of objectively good. Objectivity only exists when there is fact, but with "good" and "bad" it is 100% subjective and up to the individual to decide for them self. But I do agree with you when you say just because something isn't for you doesn't make it bad.

I too have battled with depression for about the last 15 years, so I don't get overly excited about a lot of things anymore. However, one thing that has always brought me joy&happiness is taking care of, and doing things for, other people. It might be as simple as giving them a ride home from work, or something more profound, like taking care of my mom on a daily basis because she has anxiety, and a seizure disorder. I've always been a "servant"-type person towards others. Even if I don't know who they are; I've always enjoyed helping people, especially the ones who I know can never do anything to pay me back.

Hi Boogie. I'm a new fan. I've only got into watching your videos and subscribing this February 2016. And because of your channel, I have rekindled my martial arts training again. I Stopped going a couple of years ago due to a lot of personal, relationship, familial issues, and depression and anxiety. Bloated up to 300 pounds, and started getting pains everywhere, especially my feet. Had so much trouble breathing and started having random heart palpitations witch scared me a lot. It's been a month and a half since I've started training again and now the pain on my feet almost non existent, I can breathe easier and I've stopped having everyday suicidal thoughts. I really hope I commit to this and not regress. I'm still scared that I might.. Anyways, thank you so much Boogie. Thank you for inspiring me to go back and push myself again. You're an inspiration. My inspiration. I apologize for my English. This is not my first language.

And also try not to be too strict with yourself. At least once a month have a "cheat" day. Anyway there is my 2 cents. Feel free to take it or leave it. Good luck and Much love

I'm happy when I watch the people I like on KZbin (including you of course, Boogie) and when I play games...but not all the time. I'm approaching my mid 20's and I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do with my life. I've been offered a place to do Engineering next year, and it honestly looks exciting as anything, but I feel like the those simple things that make me happy are becoming harder and harder to enjoy. A lot of that enjoyment came from sharing the experience with my friends, who I've only kept in touch with a few, and even they are, more or less, doing other things with their life and never seem to have the time to do the things we used to do. I know there are other people out there I can meet and share my experiences with if I try, and I think I will in time...but it just feels really hard. I guess I just miss my friends and that feeling of nostalgia, where everyone was playing BC or WotLK and we all had fun; it's just something I want to experience again and for as long as possible. I know I'm rambling, just felt I needed to write that. Hopefully Legion, the books and the movie will be good this year.

The biggest thing that makes me happy is knowing that there are only about 2-3 months of school left, and that summer (and sailing) are just around the corner. Boogie, I really like the videos of you as boogie. While I'm a thin guy in high school, I'm still an outcast. I just don't fit in, and most of it is because of what I like. My three favorite things in the world are sailing, shop, and technology. It feels nice to see that someone who has been through as much as you have is so happy. I have been finding happiness in the shop classes, and at home I find pleasure in learning about whatever I feel like. I also feel good knowing that the democrats have at least someone who is half decent. Guys, I think we need to face what's really the best for the country. We're better off with educated citizens. We're better off if people are healthy, and free healthcare is a big part of this. I'm just not a fan of how the republicans are so conservative. I feel like we should be making progress towards the environment, education, and acceptance. I'm not gay, but I sure would hate to be right now. I feel bad for people who are getting so much crap for being gay or a Muslim. I know plenty of gay people, Muslims, and gay Muslims, and they're all fantastic people. The only thing that Trump has said that isn't completely enraging to me is the idea of moving industry back to the US. Most Americans haven't experienced the good quality of American made products. It's sad to see how little we manufacture now. Not a single major lathe manufacturer makes lathes in the US, with the exception of a few $50,000 CNC collet lathes. Even South Bend products are made in Asia. Not to be racist towards Asian people, or Asian countries, but most things made in Asia just aren't the same quality as the stuff made in the US. I'm not a usual 15 year old who thinks that the newest is the best. I have an appreciation for the old quality stuff that was built well with pride in the United States. And let's not forget about slavery. We haven't abolished slavery. We've moved it overseas. Sure they're getting payed a little, but not nearly enough. Making things in Asia isn't helping us or the environment. It's causing damage. By the way, when I say Asian made products, I'm kind of excluding Japanese manufactured products, which are often extremely well designed and built with excellent quality steels and good tolerances. I know I'm going to get a lot of shit for this comment, but it feels very good to get it out there. At least now it has been said, and people can interpret it how they want. And by the way, the thing I want most is for EVERYONE to VOTE. Make an educated decision and VOTE for the candidate with the principles that best match your opinion. VOTE. I can tolerate someone voting for Trump if they've done the research and feel that his policies are good. That's just me.

I don't understand, how anyone paying actual attention cannot see that. Also just toughen up, people will criticize and make fun of your views regardless what they are for your whole life, so you really should not let your feelings be hurt quite so easily.

The want to be a good person, is some times the most important part of being one. These day it's the simple things, 8 hours of solid sleep, a full cup of coffee, a good game to play with no bullshit attached or moral dilemma to accompany it. Even for someone who hates on Ubi often, I've really been enjoying the Division, it's been kinda nice to explore the city since I've never actually been to NY, don't know if I'll ever venture into the dark-zone other then to get some achievements or quick gear though. These days I just try to find things to do that occupy the time in the day so I can just get to the next day. I completely relate to what your going through. On a lighter note, I'm glad to finally see someone understand The Division. I really enjoy the game and I'm actually not big fan of Ubisoft but I have to say, I do enjoy the game. I see tons of people saying it's boring but to me it's far from it. You nailed it when you said just because someone doesn't like that type of game doesn't mean the game sucks. It's just not their kind of genre. I don't really like the Far Cry series too much and I find them to be boring but I would never say the games suck because obviously a lot of people enjoy it. It's simply not my kind of game. Anyway just wanted to put my input on a well made video. I will definitely be watching more of your videos. Thanks for the good content.

Happy! This week, I'm happy because I finished a 3½ month-long project to knit a replica of Tom Baker's Doctor Who scarf. Your rambling series is my favourite. And thanks for explaining Jesse.

I'm flying out to LA in two weeks for North Hollywood Cinefest. My best friends' movie is in the festival. I got to be out there for a few days last year to be on set and work on the movie. Going back this year for a few days to celebrate. At this point, it's the greatest thing I've ever done or been apart of. Hoping its the beginning of something amazing for us.

My gf and vidyagames make me happy! Decided to keep myself away for all the people that would make me unhappy and put me down which meant moving out with my gf that is about an hr from where I used to live. Decided to start fresh and go to university which is something I thought I could never do due to leaving school in year 10 and hating school due to being bullied and not being very smart. Now I'm 21 and doing a preparation program to gain a place at university to study information technology. With the help of my gf with uni and me not associating myself with people that make everything that I do negative in some way to make themselves feel good is the reason i am feeling better then ever! Oh and video games! Video Games have helped me in so many ways just like they have you boogie! :)

What made me happy? I finally got a gym membership and joined my family in getting fit. It's slow right now, swimming twice a week with my son, maybe more if my wife joins us. I've had a lot of fun with my son. I hope you and your wife feel better soon! (and for some reason I can never type hope without missing that e, even then...)

While my stress-filled semesters of college make it extremely difficult for me to play the video games I love, I have found that playing guitar in what little spare time I have has made me feel happy and content. Taking out all my frustrations on those strings make the failures and slip ups of the day seem less significant. I haven't been able to tune in to your videos as much as I want to Boogie, but when I do I'm always entertained. I wish you the best!!

I get happier and happier with Boogie's videos and movies, but most of all, video games. I love it how you try to make other people feel better. You put your funniness into the game when you're as Francis or as Jessy. When it comes to video games, I like to be able to do whatever I want, see different colors, experience different stories and embrace different soundtracks, but most of all, to relax and throw away everything that boggles my mind and whatnot.

What makes me happy is listening to old bands and music from years ago that helped me through a lot and remembering the girl I love but despite not being able to have her due to distance, I'm still experiencing happiness in the fact that she's happy, although without me.

I love you boogie. I hope that you and your wife get better. There is a girl that make me happy, make me feel stronger, and awesome ^^ I've been dating with her for a couple of years. Now she have struggles, she doesn't know what she wants, that including me... That made me sad for a couple of months, but it's time to let her go, because I love her, and she deserve to find whatever or whoever that he'll she needs, and I deserve someone who loves me. Love you boogie :) you always make me feel that there's smart, kind and awesome people in this planet.

Hey Boogie, I'm a new subscriber and Ive just started listening to your videos. I work a night job that makes my schedule intersect less often with the people in my life so lately I've been getting enjoyment out of listening to youtubers like you to fill the gap in human interaction just by hearing your voices.

What makes me happy is simply seeing you so happy. I feel like you're finally living the way you've always deserved. Any other thing that makes me happy is my long battle with benzodiazepines being almost over, went from 300 pills to 0 in 6 months, I'vve never been happier.

I'm autistic, and life is fucking hard right now, but gaming makes me happy, I love Star Wars Battlefront, I'm 41yr old woman and have been a gamer my entire life, and it's my first foray in to online multiplayer as I've always been scared of harassment. So that makes me happy, my cats make me happy, Sheldon especially makes me happy, my mum and sister make me happy. KZbin and watching my fave videos makes me happy. Francis makes me happy and laugh....I pray you never leave us Boogie, please don't. Love Lizzy. From the UK, I'm sure you won't see this. But love to all.

You know what makes me happy? Seeing all of the comments on this video and seeing all the support you all give each other. Strangers talking with each other and lifting each other up when the other is feeling down or depressed. Talking about getting dogs and other methods of getting through the struggle of life and health issues. It's simply amazing, God bless you all.

Your characters are great and entertaining, but having watched a few of the ramble videos I think I like the real "real you" even better. I'm down to around 350 from 460 and have many unrelated health issues as well so I feel for you there. Glad you're making it, that makes me happy. Gaming, since I really can't do much else physically right now, and hanging out with my wife are the things I do that make me happy. Also watching quality KZbin videos like the one I'm commenting on now. One thing, I think the problem people have with Francis and Jesse is that in today's world people just don't get irony and parody, both because it takes actually thinking instead of just reacting emotionally to understand either and because our culture has gotten so obsessed with political correctness for it's own sake.

Boogie I love the way you put the thoughts of the Division. I get so tired of reviewers who do not play these games and enjoy them just for the views. Yes, I understand if that is all their channel consist of they need those views and you will have to review it. This leads me to the second part of how I feel about the situation; If it is not your game, please, PLEASE, come beforehand and let everyone that is watching the video that you do not like certain types of games and give the game a solid look from outside your shoes. People who love MMO's and hate platformers will not go out of their way to try and like a platformer unless it is absolutely perfect. If they were to review said platformer, a lot of the reviewers I see on youtube, will give it a craptastic review because its not a game they play. Thus leading someone who is looking to be interested in the game away because they put their trust into their review. Keep doing what your doing Boogie love the vids!

Playing video games, watching youtube, talking with friends, and seeing my parents happy is mostly what makes me happy. Also boogie do you think that you could do an epic rap battle of youtube history with jessy and francis, then boogie and jessy? and For a final rap video you could have all three in a rap battle. Those would be some of the best videos (in my opinion) that you may make.
