@@CaspE. a couple of Karl's ideas are VERY similar to the ones used in the series Black Mirror (written by Charlie Brooker), for example the doctor feeling what the patient feels (which was part of episode 4 of season 4 if i remember correctly)

He blindly believed that a Chimp performed surgery on a human being...but the human being...having poor eyes, he read "CHEAP surgery," when in reality...the add said, "CHIMP surgery." Yeah...all the great minds struggle with this!

Bod was first. Then pob. Pob isn't a reference used but it's a good one to suggest. Bod was a animation in 70's with a perfect circle head. Pob was a puppet from 80's and whilst not circular the head is quite karl-esque
