The Inspiration behind this video:
There are two directions the Rambo 6 plot could take. It could be set after Rambo: Last Blood and see Rambo drift into a new situation, echoing the story of the original First Blood, or it could be a prequel focusing on Rambo's time in Vietnam. Stallone himself had expressed interest in a Rambo prequel before, showcasing the transformation of the character from an all-American golden boy to a broken warrior. Another route Rambo 6 could take is reviving the cancelled version of Rambo 5 developed by Stallone and First Blood author David Morrell.
Realistically, the most likely plot direction for Rambo 6 is a reboot of the franchise. Stallone appears to be done with the character, but audiences aren't. There's still demand for more John Rambo adventures. While Stallone's performance is what made the role so iconic, many action franchises have proven that they can survive a cast change of similar magnitudes. Multiple actors have played Tom Clancy character Jack Ryan, for example, and each has brought their own spin on the role. There's no reason the story of John Rambo can't be retold similarly should Stallone make good on his decision not to return for Rambo 6.

In a recent interview, he mentioned that Ryan Gossling would be the person he would want to see play Rambo if they were to reboot it. He said he met Gossling, and he mentioned to Stallone how that character inspired him to become an actor and he had great appreciation for the John Rambo character. Stallone said his passion really inspired him. Realistically Stallone is done playing the Rambo character at 78 years of age.

Stallone has given so many core memories to a lot of us 80s and 90s children. I grew up in India and my family owned a small movie theatre where my grandmom would take us in the summers. Wed would ait in the owners box....nothing fancy....just a small room next to the projector which wasnt well maintained. I saw first blood, cobra, tango and cash and few others. Same with jackie chan movies. I was born in 83 and grandmok did not care would pg ratinga and all. She would take naps and buy us toy knifes and bows on the way home.....grandfather would make me spears and slimgshots from guava tree branches. Good times and i spent most of my childhood chasing monkeys with my dog.

My suggestion is that Rambo is getting on in years, but also in experience. It would be nice to see character like Rambo in his career made many contacts, to take on an apprentice, New Blood or build a Rambo team to carry out future missions under Rambo's guidance. With himself as back up when needed to bring the team (wolf pack) home safe. This would seem to be the logical progression of the Rambo franchise. Until such time the team takes over on Rambo's demise. The team can then choose a new leader from among them and launch revenge on their bosses killer(s). As on previous missions the team leaders would change according to the mission skills required. This would carry on into the new franchise. The Rambo spirit lives on in each to act as an instinctive guide in times of trouble. Highly deserving of someone of such caliber.

I have a better plot for a new rambo. Have a college-aged girl looking for him because she is writing a paper on Vietnam and came across information about Baker company and their unclassified activity during the war. She finds out rambo is still living and wants to interview him. After much reluctance, he finally gives the interview. Throgh de-aging and some really good ai deep fakes, we learn what made Rambo what he is. A prequel to first blood told from his point of view.

No I'm sorry I love Sly Stallone but this is ridiculous. I know it's a movie but come on is anybody really buying this at this point. As an elderly, overweight, infirm myself, I cannot begin to tell you how represented I feel. I also have a fungal scalp infection so watching Jon Bernthal rub his head for two hours will also be very therapeutic for me. I was never a fan of the rocky films but rambo first blood IMHO is one of the best movies of all time and loved all the rambo movies . For me no sly = a big hole in the film industry that nobody else could replace 😎
