I've just found out a few things about Rambo: Although Rambo appears to be a butch action stereotype, the character of John Rambo is actually a broken and emotional man. He has witnessed all of his friends die, was not loved as a child, faced unbearable terrors in Vietnam, returned to a country that rejected him, then was seduced back into combat where he killed hundreds more people before finally being left alone and miserable, unable to forgive himself for what he has done. At one point, Rambo stated that he had wasted his life fighting for things he thought he believed in. By the end of the series, Rambo hates himself and has lost his faith in humanity, God and the concept that things will get better for the world, due in no small part because of the horrors of war he experienced. Rambo did get better at the end of the series when he returned home, but he is no doubt plagued by nightmares from his post-traumatic stress disorder. The character has more emotional depth than most people would think based on what popular culture has depicted Rambo as, and Sylvester Stallone's performance has been widely acclaimed.

Would be cool, but sadly, Sega may not have the Rambo license, and the only console this would be on is the Nintendo Switch due to its Joy Cons doubling as motion controllers (the Xbox and Playstation consoles currently out do not have light guns).

@@rodzandz unfortunately, that was a different game and was made by a different developer. It was also a rail shooter but, that's the only thing that it shares with the Sega arcade game. This one completely blows that game away. Always hoped to see a port of this one by Sega like they did for Ghost Squad on the Wii and the House of the Dead games

@@TheMcKayFiles There was a console port its called Rambo the Video Game. I had this for PS3 and you can play the game two ways, either with the ps3 or ps move controllers. It was also available for the xbox 360 but it did really poor in the sales and thats why it did not get any good reviews, but to me its still a good game but it gets repetative very quickly. You can checkout the gameplay on youtube and I'll let you be the judge of it.

Possibly done to avoid attracting controversy (as well as the fact that it would basically be an entire QTE-filled level, as other than the one cop that was killed by accident, as Rambo threw a rock that hit his head when he was doing it to ward off a helicopter, and nearly shooting Teasle, the cops were mostly taken out non-lethally or diverted away from Rambo, either by booby traps or being directed to a gas station or gun store he destroyed to distract them).
